    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet improved in that a chargeable thermal transfer image receiving sheet is easy to generate a feed trouble such as double feed or the like in a thermal transfer printer and dust or the like is easy to adhere to the surface of the image receiving sheet and the resolving power of an image formed as a result becomes easy to lower, not generating the lowering of charge preventing effect caused by the transfer of a charge preventing agent, that is, excellent in charge preventing properties and excellent in the close contact properties of a layer containing the charge preventing agent and the contact layer therewith. SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer image receiving sheet for sublimation transfer wherein at least a receiving layer is provided on the single surface of a base material, at least one of adhesive layers 6, 8, a primer layer 10 and a rear surface slip layer 11 contains carbon black. Carbon black pref. has a primary particle size of 40 nm or less and a specific surface area of 130 m /g or more. Since carbon black is excellent in dispersibility within a carbon black-containing layer and also excellent in charge preventing properties, a feed trouble such as double feed or the like is not generated in a thermal transfer printer and it is prevented that dust or the like adheres to the surface of the image receiving sheet to generate a blank in an image formed as a result and the resolving power of the image is lowered.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing color filters capable of efficiently producing the color filters having excellent dimensional accuracy, optical characteristics and surface smoothness. SOLUTION: Colored electrodeposition films of a desired number of colors including light shieldable colored electrodeposition films are formed in such a manner that novolak resin are interposed between at least light shieldable colored electrodeposition films 8 and the other colored electrodeposition films adjacent thereto by repeating the operation for forming transparent conductive layers 3 over the entire surface or in prescribed regions of a transparent substrate 2 in a first stage, forming positive photoresist layers 4 consisting essentially of such novolak resins which satisfy at least either of the weight average mol.wt. of the novolak resins contained therein within a range of 3000 to 1000 and the content of sensitizers within a range of 15 to 30wt.% on at least the transparent conductive layers 3 of the transparent substrate 2 in a second stage, exposing and developing these positive photoresist layers 4 via a photomask having prescribed patterns and forming the colored electrodeposition films 8 on the exposed transparent conductive layers 3 in third stage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent antistatic properties, heat resistance, film performance, slipperiness and the like and the favorable running property of a thermal head by a method wherein primer layers contain electrically conductive carbon black and is formed in a manner concealing no detecting mark. SOLUTION: On one side of a base material sheet 1, yellow(Y), magenta(M) and cyan(C) coloring material layers are formed and further detecting marks 2 are formed adjacent to coloring material layers. Further, primer layers 3 containing electrically conductive carbon black is formed on the back side of the base material sheet 1 in a manner that the primer layers e do not conceal the detecting marks 2 when seen from the back side. In addition, a heat resisting lubricity layer 4 is formed so as to cover the primer layers 3. This antstatic primer layer 3 is mainly made of a binder having favorable adhesion to both the base film and the heat resisting lubricity layer and the carbon black as an antistatic agent. The method for forming the primer layer 3 is performed by coating liquid which is prepared by dissolving and dispersing the binder and carbon black in the mixture with water soluble organic solvent.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a process for production of color filter which prevents generation of pinholes, white drop-outs, etc., and has good quality free from defects, such as unequal coloration, even with the color filter having fine and intricate pixel arrangement by relatively moving a material to be coated and an electrodeposition liquid and/or recovered liquid and bringing electrodes into contact with this electrodeposition liquid or recovered liquid. CONSTITUTION:This process for production of color filter includes a stage for forming coating film of desired hue by electrodeposition coating on the material which is to be coated and has the electrodes. The material to be coated and the electrodeposition liquid and/or recovered liquid are relatively moved prior to execution of the electrodeposition coating to bring at least the electrodes into contact with the electrodeposition liquid and/or recovered liquid. These contact treatments are executed on the surface of the substrate which is the material to be coated and on the surface of which the electrodes are formed. The electrodeposition coating is merely necessitated to be executed in succession if the electrodeposition liquid is used for the treatment. The electrodeposition is executed by immersing the material to be coated into the electrodeposition liquid after liquid draining is executed to some extent after the treatment when the treatment is executed by the recovered liquid, etc.
