摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of peeling in a short period of time in a roller member such as a roller cam follower of a cam device in a valve system of an engine for an automobile. SOLUTION: The roller member is manufactured by heating a machined roller member material formed of a bearing steel in a predetermined shape at 840-870°C for three hours or more in a carburizing atmosphere of which carbon potential is 1.2% or more for carburizing treatment and then quenching it. Total carbon amount of the surface layer section in a range from the surface of the rolling surface to depth 0.5 mm in the roller member is set at 1.0-1.6 wt%, and solution carbon amount in a matrix of the surface layer section is set at 0.6-1.0 wt%. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling-sliding contact part which has a surface hardness of ≥64 HRC, and whose service life when lubricating oil mixed with foreign matter is used can be elongated, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The rolling-sliding contact part can be obtained by subjecting a worked rolling contact part stock formed into a prescribed shape from bearing steel to carburizing treatment. The total carbon content in the surface layer part in the range from the surface to a depth on which the maximum shearing stress acts in the rolling-sliding part is controlled to 1.0 to 1.6 mass%. Also, the the content of solid solution carbon in the matrix of the surface layer part is controlled to 0.6 to 1.0 mass%. Further, spheroidal carbides are precipitated over the surface layer part. The content of the spheroidal carbides is controlled to 5 to 20% by area, and the grain size thereof is controlled to ≤3 μm. 摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain bearing parts excellent in toughness and having superior indentation resistance and wear resistance at the surface and high resistance to the propagation of cracks and, as a result, capable of improving the service life of a bearing in lubricating oil containing foreign matter. CONSTITUTION:The process for producing the bearing parts includes a hardening stage where a bearing parts stock consisting of steel is subjected to carburizing or carbonitriding, a tempering stage where the above stock is tempered, a shot peening stage where residual compressive stress is applied by applying shot peening to the desired part of the above stock to transform residual austenite into martensite and increase hardness, and a finishing stage where the above stock is polished. Residual austenite in the surface layer part of the above desired part is regulated to 10-30%, and also maximum residual compressive stress is regulated to -800 to -1800MPa and hardness is regulated to >=850 in terms of Vickers hardness.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling/sliding contact component capable of more extending its service life in the case of using a lubricant oil in which foreign matter is intruded.
SOLUTION: A worked rolling/sliding contact component material formed into a prescribed shape from steel is heated at 930 to 970°C for ≥1.0 hr in an atmosphere having a carbon potential of 0.9 to 1.1%, so that existing carbide is melted into a matrix. Next, the temperature is reduced to 830 to 900°C. Further, the carbon potential in the atmosphere is controlled to 0.6 to 0.8%, and, after heating for ≥0.5 hr, rapid cooling is performed. Then, heating is performed at 830 to 870°C in a carburizing atmosphere in which the carbon potential is 1.1 to 1.6% so as to cause carburization treatment, and, after that, rapid cooling is performed. In this way, the grain size number of old austenite crystal grains in the surface layer part in the range from the surface to a depth with the maximum shearing stress applied is controlled to ≥11.
