    • PURPOSE: To automate the manufacture of panel and to make the quality of product uniform by continuously performing the edge preparation and bending of a pipe body by the signal of a central control unit and properly arranging working pipes through an assembling robot.
      CONSTITUTION: A pipe body is supplied from a stocker 1 to form its edge by an edge preparation machine 2 and is stored in a multi-rack vertically storing stocker 3 in a pipe body working section A. Next, the pipe body is bent by a numerical control bender 4. In a working pipe arranging section B, the pipe sent by conveyors 5a, 5b is arranged so as to form a coil on a conveyor 6 by an assembling robot 7. The pipe arranged for coil is transferred to a panel manufacturing section E through a welding section C and an inspection section D, and is formed into a product by attaching a supporting fixture to it. Because all of the processes are controlled by the storage and command signals outputted from the central control unit the manufacture is automated and the product quality is made uniform.

      CONSTITUTION: Support beams 25, 26 are moved to the position of a conveyor 5b for transferring pipe bodies, along guide rails 22 through 24, and then a clamp device which is not shown is lowered to clamp a pipe body. Then, the support beams 25, 26 are moved to a position above a roller conveyor 6, and then the bodies 27, 28 are moved so that a pipe body 40 comes to a predetermined position. With the repetition of these steps, various pipe bodies are positioned their predetermined positions. With this arrangement, pipe bodies of various shapes may be surely transferred and positioned.

    • PURPOSE: To perform good cutting in a tubular body feeder for edge preparation machine, by constructing the tubular body feeding roller elevatably/lowerably while matching the center of the tubular body and the center of rotation of tool in cutting device.
      CONSTITUTION: Upon rotation of an elevatable nut 25, an elevatable member 24 will lift thus to lift a guide roller 22 for mounting a tubular body 12 and advancing or retracting. A control box 30 is prestored with the location of roller 22 corresponding with the outer diameter of the tubular body 12 to provide a drive command to a motor 28 on the basis of a signal 31 for informing the outer diameter of the tubular body 12 or 17 thus to elevate/lower the roller 22. Consequently, the axis of the tubular body is held on the axis 15 matching with the rotary axis of tool in cutting device for any one of the small diameter tube 12 or large diameter tube 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side arc welding method and double-side arc welding equipment using consumable electrode type welding and the non-consumable electrode type welding to consistently control the arc length of both sides of a base material, or the heat input of the non-consumable electrode type welding. SOLUTION: In the double-side arc welding method, the arc length of a consumable electrode arc 1 is controlled to be a fixed value during the welding by setting the value of the sum (Vall) of the non-consumable electrode arc voltage (Vgta) measured by a non-consumable electrode arc voltage measurement circuit 11 and the arc voltage (Vgma-constant) on the consumable electrode side which is a preset fixed value to be the output voltage (Vout). The preset reference arc voltage (Vgta-const) on the non-consumable electrode side is corrected by the welding current value measured by a welding current measurement circuit 17. By comparing the corrected arc voltage value with the non-consumable electrode arc voltage (Vgta) measured by the non-consumable electrode arc voltage measurement circuit 11, the torch height of a non-consumable electrode welding torch 8 is adjusted so that the arc length of a non-consumable electrode arc 6 is controlled to be the fixed value.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit high-efficiency TIG welding of shielding a welding arc with gaseous He and shielding a weld metal with gaseous Ar even in narrow groove welding and to make it possible to stably perform high-frequency and high-voltage discharge process start in spite of shielding with the gaseous He.
      SOLUTION: This TIG welding equipment has a shielding box 4 for blowing the inert gases into the groove from outside the groove, a welding torch 1 for performing TIG welding by being inserted into the groove, an electrode 3 at the front end of the welding torch and gas nozzles 2a and 2b which are arranged on both sides of the electrode and blow off the inert gases. The blow- off directions of the gases are directions opposing each other and the gases blown off from the gas nozzles collide against each other, forming the gaseous streams of an ascending component and a descending component. The gaseous Ar is adopted for the inert gas blown off from the shielding box 4 and the gaseous He is adopted for the inert gases blown off from the gas nozzles 2a and 2b.
