    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized reactor.SOLUTION: A reactor 1 includes a pair of coils 11a and 11b composed of a series of winding wire 11w, and an annular magnetic core 12 on which both the coils 11a and 11b are arranged. Both the coils 11a and 11b are connected via a coupling portion 11r formed by folding a part of the winding wire 11w. The magnetic core 12 has coil wound portions 12c around which both the coils 11a and 11b are each wound, and end cores 12e exposed from both the coils 11a and 11b. The reactor 1 has a projection 12p further projecting than surfaces of the coil wound portion 12c on the side where the coupling portion 11r resides of the end cores 12e, and has a recess 12h with which the coupling portion is fitted. The length Lof the reactor 1 in the axis direction of the coils is short, and the height is same as that of the coils 11a and 11b.

The bottom plate part 40 and the side wall part 41 are united by hooking the large-diameter part onto the bottom plate part 40.

The gap definition portion 6 and core pieces are united by the resin coating portion without using an adhesive.
