    • PURPOSE: To retain a fastener in an end portion of a screwdriver tool by arranging a fastener retaining expandable elastic body being formed on the tip of a hollow shaft and converting shaft directional displacement of a draw shaft into displacement expansive outward in the radial direction of the tip of the hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION: When a draw shaft 34 is pulled upward (as shown by an arrow 88), an expansion head portion 52 is displaced toward an under surface 62 of a tip portion 28 according to it so that an elastic material 58 is compressed between these. The elastic material 58 having an elastically deformable characteristic is elastically pressed outward from the draw shaft 34 when it is compressed between the expansion head portion 52, the tip portion 28 and the under surface 62 to form an overhang portion 90. The overhang portion 90 contacts with an inside surface 84 of a socket 50 of a fastener to generate holding power there. The overhang portion 90 extends by going over clearance 86 to reliably join a tool and the socket 50 of the fastener.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a metal mold shell body assembly having an inside surface heating the outside surface exposed to a heat source and a cast gelable thermoplastic material to the melting temp. of the thermoplastic material to mold a thin-walled solid plastic shell. CONSTITUTION: Respective heat transfer pins 30 have the outer surfaces exposed to a heat source for heating a mold shell body and large diameter head parts 30a and the large diameter head parts are arranged so as to form parallelly arranged relation with respect to the outside surface of the mold shell body. The respective heat transfer pins are connected to the mold shell body by the capacitive welding nuggets formed only between the large diameter head parts and the mold shell body and the large diameter head parts of the heat transfer pins of the outside surface of the mold shell body and the clean surface parts free from welded parts between the large diameter head parts are combined with the expanded surfaces of the heat transfer pins to demarcate the total heat transfer surface larger than the whole of the outside surface of the mold shell body and, by this heat transfer surface, the heat flow to the thermoplastic material cast on the inside surface of the mold shell body from the heat source is increased.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a modified molding device for molding a two-tone color plastic shell with a thin wall especially suited for the use as an automotive inner door panel and an automotive interior trim such as an instrument panel. CONSTITUTION: A sealing gasket means 60 which is freely slidable in the longer direction is provided along the partition 42 of a loading box between the partition 42 of the loading box and the rib 34 of a mold in such a manner that the means 60 bridges the space between the partition 42 and the rib 34. In addition, a retaining means 84 which is fixed in a freely attachable/detachable manner is provided at a selected position in the longer direction of the partition 42. The retaining means 84 includes a freely slidable sliding member 80 which can position a sealing gasket 60 at a desired right spot in the longer direction of the partition 42 of the loading box. The sliding member 80 is fixed to the partition 42 with the help of a set-screw 96. The sealing asket means 60 can be set to be attachable to and detachable from the sliding member 80.
