    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert type pipe joint capable of providing secure sealing by merely inserting bellows pipe into a joint pipe, and having a simple and safe structure. SOLUTION: This insert type pipe joint for connecting the bellows pipe F having recessed and projecting portions 18, 20 in corrugated form on an outer periphery comprises a joint main body 26 in which a pipe insertion aperture 24 for inserting the bellows pipe is formed, and an inner wall surface is stepwise formed; a nut member 30 in the ring shape fixed on a leading end of the joint body; packing members 40, 42 arranged on an inner wall surface of the joint body; and a retainer member 50 in the shape of ring, a leading portion slidably coming into contact with an inner wall of the nut member, the base end being supported to be in contact with the packing member, when the bellows pipe is inserted, the retainer member being applied to the leading end of the bellows pipe, and one portion of the retainer being elastically enlarged and contracted in a radial direction of the bellows pipe, thereby allowing the bellows pipe to be insert into the inside thereof. The nut member is formed with a fallout preventing taper surface 60 which deforms the retainer member in a diametrically contracting direction when a force is exerted to the bellows pipe in a drawing direction. Thus, the bellows pipe is surely sealed and attached by merely inserting it into the joint body.

The nut member is formed with a fallout preventing taper surface 56 which deforms the retainer member in a diametrically contracting direction to prevent the bellows pipe from falling out when force is exerted to the bellows pipe in a drawing direction and pushes it into a recessed portion of the bellows pipe.

      SOLUTION: This insert type pipe joint 16 comprises the joint body 26; a nut member 30 in the ring shape fixed on a leading end of the joint body; packing members 40, 42; a guide member 44 in the ring shape; and a retainer member 50 in the oil ring shape. The retainer member is placed on a housing groove 48 in the ring shape arranged on an outer periphery surface of the guide member at an initial time, and when the bellows pipe is inserted, the retainer is applied to a leading end of the packing member to be pushed out from the housing groove, and it allows the bellows pipe to be inserted into an inside, while elastically enlarging and contracting in a radial direction of the bellows pipe. The nut member 30 is formed with a fallout preventing taper surface 52 which prevents the retainer member from deforming in a diametrically enlarging direction when force is exerted to the bellows pipes in a drawing direction. Thus secure sealing and attachment are provided by merely inserting the bellows pipe in the joint body.

In the gas stopper 1, permeability between the inside and outside of the stopper is secured by a ventilating member 60. Should gas leakage occur, gas leaks out of the ventilating member 60 so as to accurately detect the gas leakage by inspection after completion of piping.
