摘要： PURPOSE:To improve substantially the cleaning effect by giving up and down motions as well as twisting motions to an interdental brush, and making the interdental brush contact even with interdental space surfaces of complicated shapes by means of a shaft member a brush fixing member and a cam means engaging them. CONSTITUTION:The base end portion 41 of an interdental brush is inserted into a spindle hollow shaft 27 to actuate a motor. The actuation transmitted to a drive shaft 24 through gears or the like makes a pin member 26 perform circular motions by a rotational driving of the shaft. Following the circular motions, a spindle 25 which engages with the pin member 26 through a ball 30 within a groove 27, with the hollow shaft 27 as a rotation axis in the horizontal direction, performs twisting motions as arc-like right and left reciprocating motions with a shaft rotation axis 24'' as the center of displacement, and also, following pushing up and down of the bottom of a cover member 28' on the upper part of the spindle and the bottom surface of a spindle groove 29 by means of the ball 30, the spindle 25 moves also upward and downward.

CONSTITUTION:A chip air main switch 12 is turned off, an electric/ air transfer switch 2 is set to 'air', one pedal of a pedal control section 1 is depressed, then the compressed air from a compressor 6 is directly fed to an air turbine R via a solenoid valve 3 located on the 'air' side, and an air turbine hand piece (a) is driven. When the switch 2 is set to 'electric', the compressed air is converted into electricity by an air pressure detecting circuit 4, electricity is fed to micro-motors M1 to M4 via a control circuit 5, and micro-motor hand pieces (b) to (e) are driven. When the chip air main switch 12 is turned on and the other pedal is depressed, the chip air is discharged directly from tips of the hand pieces (a) to (e) via the solenoid valve 3.

This allows a larger retaining part between a base end of a dental treatment device to be retained and the above locking members.

CONSTITUTION:A contra-bar 25 has a notch 23 at the top part, when it is inserted into a bar tube 6 driven and rotated by a motor, etc., a ring elastic locking member 11 having a slot at the top part is expanded with pressure, and a claw 12 retreats. When the insertion further continues and the notch 23 is deeply inserted, expanding force with pressure is released, and the claw 12 is engaged in the notch 23 by the elastic force of the claw itself. When an inserting operation is canceled, an engaging condition is maintained, and the contra-bar 25 is unitedly-rotatably held with the bar tube 6. When a thrust- pressuring member 17 is pushed, the locking member 11 is opened, and the claw 12 escapes from the notch 23.

Recessed parts 23 for engaging with the water flow passage or air flow passage are provided in both flank parts 22, 22' of the electrodes 21, 21' and an inside diameter 24 is set at the same diameter as the diameter of the water flow passage or air flow passage. Then, the liquid or gas is heated by the heating unit and, therefore, the tooth is prevented from being irritating. As a result, the patient's pain is lessened.
