The precious metal may be Pd, Pt, Au, Rh, Os, Ir, and the Group IV metal stannous tin, Ti, Ge. The anion may be chloride, bromide, fluoride, fluoborate, iodide, nitrate, sulphate, acetate. The solution may contain an organic solvent, e.g. cyclohexanone, dimelthylformamide, hexane, and dimethyl sulphoxide. The solution may also contain a stabilizer, e.g. methanol, ethanol, i-propanol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1, 4-butane diol, glycerol, glucose, sucrose, cyclohexanol, cyclohexanediol, inositol, phenol, #-naphthol, resorcinol, catechol hydroquinone, pyrogallol, phloroglucinol or naphthoresorcinol.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform generation damping by providing a back bias diode between a collector and an emitter of a pair of transistor for each phase of coil winding, and by forming a damping current path through one of the transistors at a positive or negative side and a reverse biased transistor. SOLUTION: A PWM12 opens and closes transistors 30-32 and 40-42 of a bridge circuit 14, and a microprocessor 10 controls a brushless motor 16. A feedback device generates the position and speed of a rotor. The transistor bridge circuit 14 consists of the higher set 30-32 and the lower set 40-42 of the transistor, and reverse biased diodes 33-35 and 43-45 are provided between collectors and emitters. When all the upper transistors 30-32 are energized, a short-circuiting path is formed through a bus 37. On the other hand, when the lower transistors 40-42 are energized, a bus 27 is short-circuited. Either all the higher and lower transistors are energized simultaneously, and current is allowed to flow from the collectors to the emitters, thus damping the generation.
