摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport container for sending air into a pneumatic tube and thereby transporting a liquid contained therein, the transport container being capable of fully preventing leakage of the liquid contained therein. SOLUTION: The transport container includes a jug body 12 in which a liquid is contained and a jug lid body 11 mounted on an opening 12a of the jug main body 12. The jug lid body 11 is mounted on the opening 12a of the jug main body 12 so that its top potion 11a is in contact with an edge surface of the opening 12a of the jug body 12 and the outer circumferential surface of its lateral portion 11b is in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the opening 12a of the jug body 12. The lateral side 11b of the jug lid body 11 is provided with a depression 11c, which is depressed from the outer circumferential surface toward the inner circumferential surface and extends wholly along the circumferential direction.
