SOLUTION: A rotor 4 is constituted by attaching a plurality of blades 8 at equal distance from the center of rotation of a vertical rotary shaft 6 at equal angle and at equal interval around the vertical rotary shaft 6. A plurality of auxiliary blades 12 are arranged at equal distance from the center of rotation at equal angle and at equal interval on an inner side in the radial direction more than arrangement positions of the plurality of blades 8 in the rotor 4.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share a part for generating lift and generating a turbulent flow, and to provide a vertical shaft windmill which has a small number of parts of blade elements and a simple structure, and can be inexpensively manufactured.
      SOLUTION: A plurality of blade elements is rotatably attached to a vertical shaft 2 at equal interval in a circumferential direction. The blade element 6 is formed by a thin plate, and a center part of the blade element 6 is slightly bent toward the outer side in a diametrical direction over the whole area in the vertical shaft direction in regard to both side parts of the blade element 6 in a rotating direction. At a side part of the blade element 6 in the rotating direction about the vertical shaft 2, a bending portion 9 formed so as to bend toward an outer surface of the blade element over the whole area in the vertical shaft direction is provided. The bending portion 9 has both functions of generating lift and generating a turbulent flow in the upstream of an air flow.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and surely adjust the handlebar height of a barrow.
      SOLUTION: An inner pipe 4 and an outer pipe 5 constitute a part of a handlebar. The inner pipe 4 has a plurality of inside holes 6, and the outer pipe 5 has one outside hole 7. A housing 8 has a sleeve 17 having a linear passage 18. A pin 19 having a locking part 20 at the outer end is insertable to the linear passage 18, the outside hole 7 and the inside hole 6 matched to the outside hole 7. The working point part 23 of a lever 14 pivotally fixed to the housing 8 has sliding portions 24 and 25 to be engaged with the locking part 20. When the working point part 23 rocked outward, the sliding portion 24 slidingly engages with the locking part 20 and pulls out the pin 19 from the inside hole 6 along the linear passage 18. When the working point part 23 is rocked inward, the sliding portion 25 of the working point part 23 slidingly engages with the locking part 20 and inserts the pin 19 into the inside hole 6 along the linear passage 18.
