    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a plurality of loads by one load driving circuit without having problems of heat generation and insufficient load driving. SOLUTION: A first load 16 for driving the insertion/exclusion of a display and a second load 17 for driving information storage mediums are connected to an aluminum electrolytic capacitor 14. The voltage (second voltage) of the junction between a first resistor R3 and a second resistor R4, and the voltage (first voltage) of the junction between the second resistor R4 and a third resistor R5 are selected as a reference voltage with a selector 15. By doing this way, the state of control of a switch 11 by a switching power source control IC 12 is adjusted, and charging voltage is changed. Specifically, the first voltage is selected and appropriate voltage is obtained by charging as driving voltage for the first load 16, when the first load 16 is driven. The second voltage is selected and appropriate voltage is obtained by charging as driving voltage for the second load 17, when the first load 16 is not driven.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the level of an input voltage without being affected by an offset voltage, an offset current, a bias current and their drifts present at an input part of a voltage comparison portion even in such a case. SOLUTION: A divided input voltage (V1) generated by dividing an input voltage (Vin) and a divided reference voltage (V2) generated by dividing a reference voltage (Vs) are inputted to a multiplexer (7). An A-D converter (8) is provided on the output side of the multiplexer and its output is inputted to an arithmetic circuit (9). The arithmetic circuit (9) outputs an input select signal (SEL) to the multiplexer which is made to switch the input, thereby receiving values obtained by A-D-converting the divided input voltage and the divided reference voltage from the A-D converter. The magnitude relation between the two received voltages is decided by digital operation to outputs the magnitude relation between the input voltage and an input conversion threshold voltage.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a countermeasure to runaway of the software of a power supply monitoring microcomputer and allow a display to be inserted into a casing when an ignition switch is turned from the ACC to OFF position. SOLUTION: The invention includes an insertion/removal drive circuit 15 to emit a Hi level signal for a certain period of time when the ignition switch is switched from the ACC to OFF position. Thereby a Hi level signal is emitted from an OR circuit 16 provided in a forced cutoff circuit 14 for a certain period of time even if the ACC signal is at the Low level, and it is possible to put on a power switch 12 to establish power supplying from a constant voltage source 11 to an internal power supply 10. After the lapse of the specified period, a Low level signal is emitted from the OR circuit 16, and the power switch 12 is turned off forcedly irrespective of the power supply control signal emitted by the power supply monitoring microcomputer 13. This allows effective countermeasure to a runaway of the software of microcomputer 13.
