摘要： PURPOSE:To represent a variegated circle such as a circle having a kind of a line such as a broken line, an alternate long and short dash line, etc., as an attribute, by maintaining high-speed processing by using an 8 direction circle picture-drawing system, so that the picture drawing can be executed in conformity with the picture drawing of one direction. CONSTITUTION:In case of picture drawing of a circle using an 8 direction circle picture drawing system, first of all, a CPU 1 derives a parameter for prescribing a circle to be drawn on a display screen 4 in accordance with a program in a CPU use memory 2. Subsequently, the periphery which can be drawn is divided equally into eight parts, and with regard to one section A1 among them, calculation for decomposing the circle to a point is executed, and a point coordinate (x, y) of a decomposed point P1 is derived. Next, from this point coordinate, a point coordinate of other section is derived, point information of eight parts is written on each memory position in a frame buffer 3 corresponding to them, and thereafter, the same processing is repeated. In this way, the point information which has been written on the buffer 3 is read out by a video signal generating circuit 5 and displayed on the screen 4. In this way, variegated circles can be represented.
