摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a registration method thereof which can immediately recover a communication service for a call coming into a mobile station after a restart of a Mobility Management Entity (MME).SOLUTION: A mobile terminal (UE) used in a mobile communication network containing a Mobility Management Entity (MME) and a Serving Gateway (S-GW), includes: means for receiving a paging based on a call incoming for the mobile terminal from the mobile communication network in which, when the MME restarts, the S-GW retains a particular S5/S8 bearer based on an operator's policy and erases other bearers; and registration means for re-registering (re-attaching) the mobile terminal having received the incoming call with the mobile communication network.

The mobile terminal has: means of receiving paging based on the call arrival to the mobile terminal from the mobile communication network in which the S-GW holds a specific S5/S8 bearer for a holding period defined by a timer when the SGSN is resumed and deletes the S5/S8 bearer after the timer expires; and registration means of performing re-registration (re-attachment) to the mobile communication network when the call arrives.

When a user equipment (UE) moves from a second/third generation (2G/3G) network to a long term evolution (LTE) network, the method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) acquires a non-access signaling (NAS) security algorithm supported by the UE, and an authentication vector-related key or a root key derived according to the authentication vector-related key, selects an NAS security algorithm, derives an NAS protection key according to the authentication vector-related key or the root key, and sends a message carrying the selected NAS security algorithm to the UE. The UE derives an NAS protection key according to an authentication vector-related key thereof. A system for negotiating a security capability when a terminal moves, a UE, and an MME are further provided. Thereby, when the UE moves from the 2G/3G network to the LTE network, the security capability negotiation between the UE and the MME is achieved
