    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a bone ash fertilizer which is capable of guaranteeing the treatment under incineration conditions satisfying designated treatment regulations for utilizing meat-bone powder as a bone ash fertilizer and of manufacturing a desired safe bone ash fertilizer. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with an upper side temperature sensor 12 and a lower side temperature sensor 13 installed at the upper and lower positions of a retaining zone having the height same as or higher than the pileup height of a volume of bone ash treated in an incineration time necessary for clearing designated treatment regulations in a treatment container 11, a lower side air injection pipe 14a and an upper side air injection pipe 14b, a differential pressure gauge 14 for measuring a differential pressure between these air injection positions, a control means 16 for controlling a bone ash discharging means 15, and a memory means 17 memorizing a standard differential pressure value. The control means 16 keeps respective temperatures of the upper side temperature sensor 12 and the lower side temperature sensor 13 at temperatures same as or higher than specified incineration temperatures, and controls to discharge a specified amount of bone ash intermittently within a range for keeping the standard differential pressure value or above when a differential pressure value corresponding to the specified pileup height is obtained by the differential pressure gauge 14.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating meat and bone meal by which the meat and bone meal having been disposed of as domestic waste conventionally is utilized as a fertilizer.
