    • PURPOSE:To listen to desired sound without hindrance, by transmitting a sub- sound signal when a sound signal is biased to a main sound signal and transmitting the main sound signal when biased to the sub-sound signal through FM modulation at the reception of duplex sound signal. CONSTITUTION:In receiving duplex sound signals, a mode switching circuit 1 is changed over into ''main sound + sub-sound signal'' mode to obtain main and sub-sound signals from a multiplex demodulator 2 and outputted respectively from speakers 6 and 7. Further, the main and sub-sound signals are led to an FM modulator 8 via a switch circuit 9. The sound volume of the main and sub- sound signals is compared at a sound volume/sound quality balance control circuit 3, the result is given to a duplex sound signal switching circuit 10, and when the main sound signal is larger than the sub-sound signal, the sub-sound signal is transmitted to an FM modulator 8 and when the sub-sound signal is larger, the main sound signal is transmitted. Thus, the desired sound signals can be listened to without being interfered with the other sound signal.

    • PURPOSE:To remove distortion from the envelop components of transmitted output waves and attain the complete compatibility of the titled system with a monaural receiver by detecting the envelope of the transmitted output wave and negatively feeding back the detected wave to a total (L+R) signal of the AM stereo system. CONSTITUTION:A left signal L and a right signal R are inputted to a matrix circuit 3 and a total signal L+R and a difference signal L-R are outputted from the circuit 3 and inputted respective phase shifting networks 4, 5. A total signal X- obtained by phase-shifting by -45 deg. in the network 4 modulates a differential signal Y+ phase-shifted by +45 deg. in the network 5 in a submodulator 12 and the modulated output is supplied to a multiplier 7 to modulate -sinomegact. Together with a carrier component 1 applied from a power source 15, the signal X- is inputted to an operational amplifier 11. The envelope of transmitted output waves is detected 17 and negatively fed back to the amplifier 11. The output of the amplifier 11 is supplied to a multiplier 6 to modulate cosomegact. The outputs of the multipliers 6, 7 are added by an adder 8 and sent as a transmission wave (F)t represented by formula A. In the formula A, mt is a factorindicating the depth of submodulation and is set to 0.5-1.0 and omegac is an angle carrier.

    • PURPOSE:to prevent a phase shift during demodulation by separating and demodulating a stereophonic signal transmitted over the 1st channel for (L+R)/2 signal transmission and the 2nd channel for R signal transmission only by addition and subtraction. CONSTITUTION:A signal (L+R)/2 supplied to an input terminal 12 is supplied to the input terminal (+) of the 2nd subtracter 9 and also supplied to the input terminal (-) of the 1st subtracter 8 and one input terminal of an adder 10 through a mode changeover switch 11. Therefore, the 1st subtracter 8 finds a difference between a signal R and the signal (L+R)/2 to generate a signal (R-L)/2. This signal is supplied to the other input terminal of the adder 10 and also inputted to the input terminal (-) of the 2nd subtracter 9 through the mode changeover switch 11, so a stereophonic signal L appears at a terminal 14 and a stereophonic signal R appears at the output terminal 15 of the adder 10. For the reception of a bilingual broadcast, the mode switch is placed in an open state reverse of the state in the figure.
