    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a space factor of a flat wire while suppressing reduction of flexibility of the flat wire.SOLUTION: A flat wire winding structure comprises a core body 31, a tooth part 33 formed to extend inside in a radial direction from the core body 31, and a flange 34 formed to extend in a circumferential direction from the inner tip in a radial direction of the tooth part 33; and a coil 8 formed by winding flat wires 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d in a multilayer on a slot 60 formed to be surrounded by the tooth part 33, the core body 31 and the flange 34. Aspect ratios of the flat wires 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d of each layer are set so that aspect ratios of width to thickness in cross sectional shapes of the flat wires 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d are larger as going to an outer layer from an inner layer of the coil 8, and generation of gaps between the slot 60 and the flat wires 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d corresponding to a width of the slot 60 for each layer of the coil 8 is suppressed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor for a motor-driven compressor in which rotation balancing can be performed at a motor side while suppressing the expansion of the motor-driven compressor in size.SOLUTION: An electric motor 15 for a motor-driven compressor comprises a stator core 21 which is fixed to a housing 12 by winding a stator winding wire 20 around a plurality of slots 19, and a rotary support 22 which is disposed at an outer peripheral side of the stator core 21 and coupled to a rotary shaft 16 and with which a cylindrical magnet group assembly 23 is supported at an inner peripheral side. The rotary support 22 includes a cylindrical part 22C supporting the magnet group assembly 23, a flange part 22B that is one terminal portion of the cylindrical part 22C, and a boss part 22A provided in the center of the flange part 22B. A recess 25 and a through hole 26 are formed, respectively, in the cylindrical part 22C and the flange part 22B of the rotary support 22. In the magnet group assembly 23, magnet groups 27, 28 and 29 of the Halbach array are provided continuously in three lines in an axial center direction while deviating phases of magnetic poles just at a predetermined angle α in a circumferential direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary machine capable of reducing cogging torque even if permanent magnets are displaced in the axial direction and assembled, and allowing the cost reduction and increased torque.
      SOLUTION: In a case that Q=2(two-phase motor), m=1, and n=2, a stator unit for the first phase is divided into two of phase A-phase A', and a stator unit for the second phase is divided into two of phase B-phase B'. The stator unit for phase A is stacked opposite to the first permanent magnet 4a on the first from either stacking end, and the phase B stator unit is stacked opposite to the second permanent magnet 4b on the third from the stacking end to form phase A-phase A'-phase B-phase B'.
