    • PURPOSE:To efficiently purify air by a method wherein the saturation of the output of a gas sensor is detected and a reference value is raised at every predetermined time from a staturation time to make the rising width of the reference value smaller than a saturation value and the intensity of a blower is determined on the basis of the difference between said output and the reference value. CONSTITUTION:The contamination of a room is detected by a gas sensor 12 and the output thereof is sent to a control circuit through a detection circuit 16 and, at the point of time when the output is judged to be saturated, a reference value is raised at every predetermined time and the rising width of said reference value is made smaller than a saturation value and argorithm determining the intensity of an electromotive blower 2 on the basis of the difference between the output of the sensor and the reference value is incorporated. When the output of the gas sensor 12 reaches a definite value or more, the number of rotations of the blower 2 can be also controlled on the basis of the absolute value output of the sensor.

    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform a control with a strong power when a power nozzle is turned on, by connecting photo-coupler in series to a motor, changing over the amplified signal of a magnetic sensing element into its divided signal or vice versa using the output of the photo-coupler, and varying the level of the power control. CONSTITUTION: When an at-hand switch 31 is shortcircuited, current flows in a motor 70 of a power nozzle 73, and a potential is generated at the two ends of a resistance 33, and a current flows in a photo-coupler 36 and another photo-coupler 37 is turned on. The potential of a capacitor 38 rises, and a transistor 39 is turned on. The collector of the transistor 39 is put at Low level, and the input terminal E of a switcher 45 is put at Low level. In actuation of the switcher 45, the input to a difference sensing circuit 50 becomes the potential at Z1 and X1 , and because the potential at Z1 lies at a point decided by dividing X1 and Z1 by resistances 26 and 27, it is naturally conditioned so that X1 -Zo > X1 -Z1 , and the input difference to the difference sensing curcuit lessens, to result in enlargement of the power of a motor-driven blower concerned 53. Thus a strong power of blower can be available by turning on the power nozzle.

    • PURPOSE: To perform proper power control of a blower by amplifying the output from a magnetic sensing element installed opposing to a magnet of a valve element using two steps of differential amplifiers, and changing over the signal due to a variable resistor into the amplified signal of the magnetic sensing element and vice versa. CONSTITUTION: The valve element 40 having a magnet 41 fitted to it is installed in an air flow path in a motor-drive blower 53, and a magnetic sensing element 42 is installed opposing to the magnetic 41. When the valve body 40 is shut and the distance between the magnet 41 and sensor elements 42 becomes the shortest, the output of the sensor element 42 maximizes, and the potential difference between the point A and reference point D becomes maximum owing to differential amplification of the first stage amplifier 12. If at this time, a variable resistor 15 is adjusted to make the potential at the point B equal to the point A, the input to the next stage amplifier 21 becomes equal, so that the output X1 becomes equal to the potential at the reference point Y1, and the power of the blower 53 decided by a difference sensing circuit 50 and a phase control circuit 51 becomes maximum. In case, for example a carpet, etc., is to be cleaned, therefore, a strong power of blower 53 can be available when an at-hand switch 31 is changed over by a switcher 45 to turn on the power nozzle.
