    • PURPOSE:To saturate a body to be inspected magnetically, to achieve the miniaturization and wt. reduction of a detection part, to prevent the lowering of a noise level and to enhance reliability, by using a superconductive magnetizing coil in a DC magnetizing coil part. CONSTITUTION:A flaw detection apparatus is constituted of a superconductive magnetizing coil 1 composed, for example. of yttrium showing superconductivity at high temp., a cooling material 2 such as liquid nitrogen cooling the coil 1, a cooling material holding container 3 constituted of a heat insulating material, a cooling material supply apparatus 4, a power source 5, detection coils 6, 7, an oscillator 9, a bridge circuit 10, an amplifier 11, a phase shifter 12, a detector 13, a display device 14 and a recorder 15. The superconductive magnetizing coil 1 can form current density higher than that of a usual magnetizing coil and high flux density which can not achieved by the usual magnetizing coil can be obtained. By this constitution, since a body 8 to be inspected can be magnetically saturated by supplying a high magnetic field, noise due to difference in a magnetic characteristic is reduced and a S/N ratio can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To automate the recording of data and to attain miniaturization and wt. reduction, by constituting the titled apparatus so that a signal showing the finish of take-in at the same time when a probe position signal and the peak value and path length of an echo signal are taken-in. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of an ultrasonic flaw detector 2 is divided into a peak value P and a path length T to be sent out to a microcomputer 3 through an ultrasonic signal take-in circuit 4. A probe position take-in circuit 5 sends out output voltages of potentiometers 204, 205, 206 for generating position signals of X, R, theta to the microcomputer 3 and a data take-in order display part 6 sends out an interruption signal for taking in data to the microcomputer 3. The gain value of a gain input circuit 7 is set by an inspector and a function key 8 performs the selection and display of various flaw detection method. A memory part 11 stores the taken-in data in a cassette 219. The data stored in the cassette 219 are inputted to a general-purpose computer for processing data by off-line processing and analyzed, processed and arranged to be outputted as various charts such as a plan, a cross section, an evaluation list or the like and the evaluation of a flaw is made easy.
