CONSTITUTION:Control means 9 is an arithmetic controller comprising electronic circuits such as a microcomputer or the like. A current IC flowing through a ozone generator 1 and a current IL flowing through a reactor 5 are detected by current detecting means 6 and 7 and compared each other, and the output frequency f of a frequency varying equipment 2 is varied in response to the phase difference and amplitude difference of the currents. That is, the output frequency of the frequency varying equipment 2 is regulated in such a manner that the amplitudes of the antiphase components of the current IL and current IC are made equal, thereby creating a state where the capacitance C of the ozone generating equipment 1 and the inductance L of the reactor 5 always have parallel resonance.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the break a generated arc by turning off the pulse of the arm connected to an omitted plasma electrode and applying the gate pulses to four remaining arms (eight arms in all) in a phase relation similar to that secured when each arm is actuated as a 3-phase oure bridge circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an electrode 6B is omitted, the gate pulses of arms V1, Y1, U2 and X2 of the rectifiers 4A and 4B connected to the electrode 6B are turned off. Meanwhile the gate pulses are applied to the eight remaining rams U1, W1, X1, Z1, V2, W2, Y2 and Z2 in a phase relation equal to that secured when each of these arms is working as a 6-pulse rectifier (3-phase pure bridge circuit). Thus the current waveforms ir1 and is2 are identical with a 120 deg. conduction form. At the same time, a zero period is never produced to the waveform of an electrode current iR (= is2 - ir1) of an arc furnace 5 that is obtained from the addition/subtraction of currents. As a result, a stable arc is maintained.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously the operating voltage of a prescribed level to an external device right after a power supply switch is turned off by setting a resetting FF using a battery as a power supply between the power supply switch and a boosting circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch 601 is turned on, a resetting FF 103 sets an output signal. Thus a boosting circuit 602 produces the operating voltage from a battery 604 and sends it to an external electronic equipment. When the switch 601 is turned off, this power supply OFF signal is sent to the external electronic equipment. Thus the FF 103 never resets the output signal as long as no power supply control signal is supplied despite the input of the power supply OFF signal. As a result, the circuit 602 produces and sends continuously the operating voltage of a prescribed level. Then the output signal of the FF 103 is reset when the power supply control signal is supplied from the external electronic equipment. Thus the circuit 602 stops its boosting action for the first time.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify preservation and inspection of parts of an auxiliary power supply by composing an electron gun device en bloc with a high voltage tank on the side of the auxiliary power supply while the high voltage tank is divided in two in a junction spot of the auxiliary power supply and a high voltage electron beam acceleration power supply. CONSTITUTION:In a high voltage tank 1', an upper tank 21 with a built-in high voltage electron beam acceleration power supply 3 and a lower tank 22 with a built-in auxiliary power supply 6 are separably arranged. In the beam acceleration power supply 3, a high voltage boosting transformer 4 is arranged on the upper side, while an acceleration power supply unit 5 is arranged on the lower side and in the auxiliary power supply 6, an auxiliary power supply unit 8 is arranged on the upper side while an insulation transformer 7 is arranged on the lower side. Further, an electron gun device 10 is attached to the lower tank 22 through a junction part 11. Thereby, the inner face of the lower tank 22 is given good visibility thus simplifying preservation and inspection of the parts of the auxiliary power supply.
