    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding machine in which a sequence circuit is positively operated and TIG welding is allowed at a small current with a simple circuit configuration even if a load current is the small current.
      SOLUTION: A commercial AC power source is formed to a direct current by means of a rectifier 104 and a smoothing capacitor 106. An inverter 108 inverts the direct current into a high-frequency voltage. A transformer 110 transforms the high-frequency voltage. The transformed high-frequency voltage is formed to a direct current by means of a rectifying diode 112 and a smoothing reactor 114 for supplying the direct current to a base material 118a and a torch 118b. A current detector 120 generates a current detection signal representing the load current. A control circuit 122 controls the driving circuit 126 of the inverter 108 so that the current detection signal may be equivalent to a reference signal from a reference power supply 124. When the load current is the small current, a switch 140 is opened and closed to generate a pulse current from a power supply 139 for setting the pulse current. The pulse current is superimposed on a control signal from the control circuit 122.
