摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the detecting work of defective parts in a necking by providing a scale indicated in a neck inspecting section corresponding to many pressing positions of the die drawn smooth die necks. SOLUTION: First, a smooth die neck gage 20 is grasped, the side end face 22a of the gage grasping part 22 is brought into contact with the side wall 7 of the straight part approximately in the condition parallel to the axis line CT of a can body 1, and the side end face 24a of the neck inspecting section 24 is arranged so as to interface with a smooth die neck 10. And the scale indicating line, corresponding to the position of defective part formed in the smooth die neck 10, is read to correspond to what order of the indicating line. Since respective indicating lines are specified so that the number of lines counted from the lower side conforms to the number of steps of the die, the defective part is easily found to have been formed in pressing or drawing process by what step of die.

摘要： PURPOSE: To realize exact shaping by a method wherein a putty cutting part is provided along one side line among lines extending in the longitudinal direction of a flexible main body and a plurality of slits are provided along the other side line under the condition that a notch is provided at the bottom part of each slit and the main body is held by pinching the slits with a pinching means. CONSTITUTION: In a putty cutter 10, a flexible R-gauge 12 made of a resin, for example, is provided as a main body, along one side line 12A of which a putty cutting part is provided and on the other side line 12B of which a plurality of slits 16 are formed. Each slit 16 is of a V-shape having a notch 18 at its bottom. When a putty cutting part 14 is pushed against the outside plating of a car body, the notches 18 and the slits 16 are enlarged or contracted. Further, the putty cutter 10 is equipped with R-gauge fixing frames 20 and 22 as a pinching means. Then, by respectively loosing R-gauge swing fixing nuts 40 and 42 and R-gauge fixing screws 50, the putty cutting part 14 is abutted against the deformed part of the car body and the right and left parts opposite to each other.
