    • PURPOSE:To blow a large air quantity with low noise in a small sized blower device used for a dryer and the like by providing a motor-driven mixed flow vane wheel in a nearly cylindrical blower duct, and forming the hub into specified truncated conical shape. CONSTITUTION:This blower device is provided with a mixed flow vane wheel 8 in a nearly cylindrical blower duct 1, a driving motor 3 positioned on the lower stream side of the wheel 8, and a heater 5 positioned on further lower stream side, the motor 3 is supported with stays 2 provided on the inside of the duct 1 on the center, and one end of the rotating shaft is directly connected to the mixed flow vane wheel 8. The vane wheel 8 is constituted so that a plurality of vanes are provided on the circumference of a hub of nearly truncated conical shape spreading on the lower stream side, diameter of the upper bottom 8b of the nearly truncated cone is smaller than diameter of the motor 3, and diameter of the lower bottom 8c is formed larger than diameter of the motor 3. Hereby, a blower device of small size, low noise, and a large air quantity is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve pressure characteristics and to enable plate work of impeller by positioning the rear fringe side of the side face section of a hub on the outside in radius direction than the front fringe side and arranging the side face section of the hub vertically to the bottom face section of the hub. CONSTITUTION:The bottom face section 4b of a hub at the rear fringe of blade is star-shaped which is located on the outside in the radius direction than the bottom face 4a of the hub at the front fringe of blade. The flow which passes among blades becomes oblique flow which spreads in the radius direction. Since the oblique flow is obtained even if the side face section 5 of the hub is arranged almost vertically to the bottom face section 4 of the hub, it is possible to locate the bottom face section 4 of the hub on the blow-out side. Thus, it is possible to improve pressure characteristics of an air blower, and plate work of an impeller becomes possible.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high performance thin impeller, by forming the negative and positive pressure surface sides of a blade in a circular arc shape and a three-dimensional curve shape, respectively, and by specifying the angles between the rotation direction of the blade and the blade surfaces on the fore and back edges of the blade, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Blades 4 are arranged around the outer periphery of a hub 3. Further, leading edges 4xa, 4xb are formed in a cross-section X-X which is obtained by cutting the blade 4 at a predetermined radius position. In this sectional shape, the negative and positive pressure sides 5, 6 are formed in a circular arc and a three-dimensional curve, respectively. That is, large inlet and outlet angle beta1P, beta2P of the positive pressure surface side 6 are held at predetermined angles which have been obtained before the impeller is thinned so as to ensure a sufficient projected area of the blade 4, and a smooth shape blade surface is obtained on the negative pressure surface side 5. With this arrangement, it is possible to obtain a high performance thin impeller.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent blast noise by providing a suction port in the suction side surface of a hub and a plurality of holes in the hub side of the negative pressure surface side of the blade and providing an auxiliary blade on the inside surface of the hub in association with these holes in an impeller having a plurality of blades fixed to the outer periphery of an approximately cylindrical hub. CONSTITUTION:The impeller 8 of an axial blower has a plurality of blades 2 fixed to the outer periphery of an approximately cylindrical hollow hub 3 which is provided with a suction port 4 on its suction side surface 3a while provided with a plurality of holes 5 formed in the hub side surface 3b on the negative pressure surface side 2e of the blade 2. Auxiliary blades 9 are disposed on the inner peripheral side wall surface 3c of the hub side surface 3b provided with the hole 5... to be formed in a row of blades of a multiblade blower. Thus, at the rotation of the impeller 8, air is sucked from the suction port 4 into the hub 3 and discharged forcibly from a plurality of the holes 5 toward the negative surface side 2e of the blade 2 by the centrifugal blast action of the auxiliary blade 9 to prevent the air flow from exfoliation on the negative surface side 2e and restrain the increase of blast noise along with the turulence of flow caused by the exfoliation.
