摘要： PURPOSE:To realize a common use among a horizontal deflecting circuit, a convergence circuit, a pincushion compensating circuit and others, by compressing a video signal of the using standard system down to 1/2 in time axis and thus realizing a reception of the video signal of present NTSC system. CONSTITUTION:A high-grade TV signal is demodulated by its demodulating circuit 46 and applied to a CRT19 via the switches SW3-SW5 to ensure a high-precision projection of an image having (2N+a) pieces of scanning lines (N: scanning number of standard type; a: an integer). Both the horizontal and vertical signals separated by a synchronous separating circuit 3 of the demodulating circuit 46 are supplied to a deflecting coil 23 via the horizontal and vertical deflecting circuits 22 and 25 and the switches SW1-SW2. At the same time, the using NTSC signal is applied to a synchronous axis compression delaying circuit 26, a burst gate 29 and a synchronous separating circuit 27 respectively. Then the 1H period of each line of a composite video signal is compressed to a 1/2 in time axis and then decoded through a decoding circuit 47 of the NTSC signal subjected to time axis compression.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable an adjuster to know which adjustment point has been selected at the 1st glance, by placing a cursor at the adjustment point right inside of the selected adjustment point on the screen. CONSTITUTION:A group of cursor keys 15 provided on control panel 1 is operated to select an adjustment point at a desired position. Coincidence detecting circuits 22 and 27 detect coincidences between the contents of horizontal and vertical cursor counters 25 and 20 and those of horizontal and vertical address counters 26 and 21 and, once the coincidences are detected, outputs coincidence signals. With the coincidence signals, gate circuit 33 is controlled and a cursor signal from cursor generating circuit 31 is added by output period adding circuit 35 to a crosshatch pattern signal from crosshatch pattern generating circuit 13. The crosshatch pattern signal having the superposed cursor signal is displayed on the television screen.

摘要： PURPOSE:To save memory capacity while shortening the time of an adjustment by storing correction values of respective adjustment points on crosses on a screen and/ or corner parts. CONSTITUTION:One-frame memory 31 consists of ROM and nonvolatile RAM; and high-order bits of correction data regarding respective adjustment points on crosses on a screen are written in ROM while low-order bits are written in RAM and those data are repeatedly read out. For fine adjustments, correction data of low-order bits are written via data reversible counter 34 by correcting the value of RAM. Next, the contents of memory 31 are read out and after interpolated, D/A-converted 9 to lead out convergence signals via LPF10. Thus, the adjustment time is shortened and ROM is repeatedly read to find the correction value of another adjustment point, so that the memory capacity can be saved. Further, corrections of high precision can be made covering the entire screen by writing correction value of screen corner parts.

CONSTITUTION:Analog convergence circuit 12 is driven by a pulse voltage or saw- tooth voltage obtained by deflecting circuit 37 to make coarse adjustment on crosses on a screen. On the other hand, horizontal and vertical pulses obtained from deflecting coil 37 drives digital convergence circuit 25 to fine adjustment of a shift in convergence mainly at the circumference of the screen. The outputs of two convergence circuits 12 and 25 are waveform-mixed by convergence yoke 39 with a correcting magnetic field. Thus, the coarse adjustments and fine adjustments are made, so that convergence corrections of high precision can be made in a short time.

Then, they are read out and after interpolated, D/A-converted 9 to output convergence siganals by way of LPF10. Thus, the coarse adjusting function is provided in addition to the fine adjusting function, so that the time of adjustment can be shortened.
