摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the decrease in the amount of floating, even if the flowing angle of air to the slider is changed, by providing a shallow groove making the bearing action at the middle to the lengthwise direction of a flat part of a slider rail. CONSTITUTION:When a slider 1 is positioned at almost middle of a magnetic disc with a rotating type actuator, since air flows to a slide rail 2 of the slider 1 along the lengthwise direction, a normal floating force can be obtained. When the slider 1 is positioned at a position corresponding to the beginning or end of the magnetic disc, two bearing actions; a wedge bearing action by a slope 3 and a flat part 4 and a step bearing action by a step 5b and a flat part 6 of a groove 5 are given to the air flowing to the side surface of the slider 1. Thus, even when the slope angle of the slider 1 is greater to the circumferential direction of air flow, the pressure generated to the flat parts 4 and 6 is almost the same degree of pressure when the tilt angle is zero, allowing to prevent the decrease in the amount of floating caused at the increase in the tilt angle of the slider 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the number of turns of a coil and to decrease a recording current, by constituting the 2nd insulating layer of a thin-film magnetic head with polyimide resin of a plurality of layers and forming each layer with different heating and curing conditions. CONSTITUTION:The 1st insulating layer 3 of pattern shape and a conductor coil 5 are provided on a base 1 with a lower magnetic substance 2a, the 2nd insulating layer 6 made of polyimide resin is provided on the layer 3, and after eliminating an upper and lower magnetic substance connecting section 4 of the layer 6, coil lead-out parts 5a and 5b, and a gap forming section 7 with photoetching technology, a thin-film magnetic head is formed by providing an upper magnetic substance 2b at the uppermost layer. In the said manufacture, the 2nd insulating layer 6 is constituted with a lower layer 6a and an upper layer 6b, and the lower layer 6a is heated and cured at 350 deg.C for 30min and the upper layer 6b is heated and cured at 300 deg.C for 30min.

摘要： A drive circuit for an electroluminescent (EL) element whose brightness can be changed by changing a voltage or the frequency of the voltage applied to the EL element and can be kept constant by keeping the current flowing through the EL element constant is disclosed. The drive circuit is provided with a drive power source whose output voltage or output voltage frequency is variable by a control signal. The output of the drive power source is supplied to the EL element. The current flowing through the EL element is detected by a current detecting element and a signal related to the detected current is applied as the control signal to the drive power source to subject the EL element to a constant-current drive.
