    • PURPOSE:To simplify the sealing between a housing and an end bracket and that to obtain a motor fan of good radiating effect by interposing an elastic member to the mating face between the housing and the end bracket. CONSTITUTION:In a cooling electric fan of a heat exchanger, etc. of an automobile, an elastic member 10 formed by rubber plate, etc. is interposed to the mating face between the end portion 6a of a housing 6 and the end portion 8a of an end bracket 8. The elastic member 10 is fixed to the mating face by fastening the clearance between both end portions 6a and 8a with rivets, etc. compressing the elastic member 10. In this work an adhesive is coated to a surface of the elastic member 10 so that the elastic member 10 will not be left out of the mating face. Thus, without reducing the surface area of housing and end bracket, the mating face can be sealed. Consequently, the sealing can be performed easily and a motor fan of good radiating effect obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide sound absorption effect over a wide frequency region by arranging plural sound absorption members each having different sound absorption frequency characteristics on an internal wall surface of an intake duct being a passage for a wind and on a door surface in an automatic car fan. CONSTITUTION:A sound absorption member 9 is sticked to an internal wall surface 8 of an intake duct 2 being a wind passage. A fresh air leakage preventing seal member 11 is sticked to a surface of a door 1 facing the fresh air intake 6 side. In addition, a sound absorption member 13 having a sound absorption frequency characteristic different from that of the sound absorption member 9 is sticked to a surface 12 facing the internal air intake 7 side. In an internal air absorption mode where the door 1 is located on the fresh air intake 6 side, a wind is absorbed from the internal air intake 7 of the duct 2 and allowed to enter a scroll 3. Hereupon, the absorbed wind strikes the sound absorption members 9, 13 sticked to the duct 2 internal wall surface and the door surface, whereby noise energy is reduced by the respective sound absorption frequency characteristics. Thus, sound absorption effect can be obtained over a wide frequency region.
