    • PURPOSE: To reduce the number of wires required for multiplexing and transmitting information among plural terminal equipments sharing a single physical transmission medium, to equally and autonomously transmit the large volume of data mutually among respective terminals and to easily expand a system. CONSTITUTION: As the terminal equipments, four VTRs 11 to 14, a video camera 15 and a monitor 16 are mutually connected in a bus shape by a coaxial cable 17 as the physical transmission medium. All the respective terminal equipments are equal and not in master-slave relation at the time of securing a transmission right and respectively perform transmission by a frequency multiplex system by autonomously securing the transmission right (frequency channel). To put it concretely, the respective terminal equipments set unique frequency channels with the other terminal equipments by utilizing the frequency channel for control in common to all the terminal equipments in a time-division manner and mutually exchanging control information with the other terminal equipments and transmit the data among the respective terminal equipments by utilizing the set frequency channel.

    • PURPOSE:To increase a processing amount by masking the transmission source address of a received frame by a communicating party address mask value, comparing a communicating party address and processing the frame for each frame of the various address at each controller. CONSTITUTION:The frame on a LAN 11 is monitored and when the frame is completed, it is fetched into a LAN controller LCP 3. The LCP 3 compares the destination address of the frame with the own address and when those addresses are not compared, the frame is abandonned. When they are coincident, the transmission source address of the frame is masked by the mask value set at communicating party address mask storage memories 6-1-6-8. Each LCP 3 compares the obtained value with the value set at communicating party address storage memories 5-1-5-8. At such a time, the values are coincident only at the memory 5-5 of the LCP 3-5, for example. Namely, only the LCP 3-5 is advanced to the next step, and the other LCP abandon the frames. The LCP 3-5 executes various frame processings and executes the announcement, etc., of the received frame to an information processor 1. Thus, loads are equally distributed to the respective LCP.
