    • PURPOSE:To reduce the waste of material by making the major diameter and the minor diameter of the front view of a reflection mirror surface identical or nearly equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:Blanking is applied from a square plate material and a reflection mirror 1 having a circular front view and a parabolic reflecting face 1a is manufactured by press processing. The front view of the reflection mirror 1 obtained has a diameter A (A=A') and an aperture projection (figure 2) shows an ellipse having the major diameter A and the minor diameter C. Through the constitution above, in radiating an electromagnetic wave from a horn having a focus F toward an offset reflection mirror 1, the wave is reflected in the mirror surface 1a and the reflected electromagnetic wave is a sharp elliptic beam in the horizontal plane according to the aperture projection (figure 2) of the elliptic shape having the aperture with then diameter C in the vertical plane. In the reflection mirror as above, since the major and minor diameters of the front view of the mirror face 1a are made identical or nearly equal to each other, the waste of material is avoided and the cost is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To remove snow adhered to a reflection mirror by allowing the effect of a spring mounted to a connecting part between a soft rubber and an arm, the arm itself and the unidirectional flexibility of the soft rubber to make the soft rubber contact the reflection mirror face and driving the soft rubber by a motor. CONSTITUTION:In receiving a satellite broadcast by an offset parabolic antenna, when snow is adhered to the reflection mirror 1, a drive motor 5 is driven to drive the arm 4 and the soft rubber 3 connected to the arm 4 is driven. The depth of the mirror face of the mirror 1 changes depends on the position of the driven rubber, but the mirror face of the mirror 1 and the soft rubber 3 are kept contacted even when the rubber 3 is driven by the operation of the spring 9 mounted to the connecting part between the arm 4 and the soft rubber 3 and of the soft rubber 3 to which a spring plate 8 is inserted. That is, the rubber 3 is shaken to the right left on the mirror face while the rubber 3 is kept contact onto the mirror face of the reflection mirror 1 and the snow adhered to the mirror face is removed by the soft rubber 3.

    • PURPOSE:To attain expanding operation surely with simple and light-weight structure and to improve the reliability by providing a shape memory alloy rod expanded and contracted by temperature change, providing a heat means and expanding the antenna with the expansion/contraction of the shape memory alloy rod. CONSTITUTION:In launching a rocket, a reinforcement member 6 and a lever 2 are held in the state of dotted lines and the shape memory alloy rod 1 is kept to the state A. When a heater 3 is heated by a power supply 8 and the shape memory alloy rod 1 is heated, a pivot 4 is moved around the center shaft 5, the lever 2 is turned with position change and kept to the state B. The lever 2 is turned to the position in solid lines, the member 6 is turned at the position shown in solid lines, a lock means in the pivot 4 is operated and the heater 3 and power supply 8 are interrupted. Thus, the shape memory alloy rod 1 is cooled and expanded, the lever 2 is turned in opposite direction, and the lever 2 is moved freely in this direction, then the member 6 is kept in the expanded state and the antenna keeps the expanded state.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of materials, installation, etc. for a parabolic antenna by attaining such a constitution where the attachment angle of a dish can be changed to the arriving direction of radio waves at a dish attachment part where the dish is welded to a pole and also the dish can be loaded and unloaded freely in directions different by 180 deg. within a plane of a circle formed by the fringe of the dish. CONSTITUTION:In the districts having much snowfall, turnbuckle type stays 10a and 10b are used with an offset type parabolic antenna. A dish 6 is attached to a dish attachment stage 8 as well as to both stays 10a and 10b by means of screws 9a, 9b, 11a and 11b respectively. The attachment angle of the dish is changed in the districts, islands, etc. having a small amount of snowfall. In other words, the dish 6 is set upside down and brackets 7a and 7b are attached to the stage 8 as well as the upper end part of stays 13a and 13b with screws 9a, 9b, 11a and 11b respectively.
