    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which an aromatic compound derivative is readily synthesized in good yield at a low cost with good selectivity in a short process by using a compound derivatizable from phenols.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, X denotes a substituent; R1s denote each an electron attractive substituent having a larger Hammett σ
      p value than 0; m denotes an integer of ≥1 to ≤5; R2s denote each a substituent; n denotes an integer of ≥0 to ≤4; and a plurality of mutual R1s and mutual R2s may be bound or R1s and R2s may mutually be bound to form a ring) is carried out as follows. A compound represented by general formula (II) (wherein, R3 and R4 denote each independently an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R3 and R4 may mutually be bound to form a ring; and p denotes 1 or 2) is reacted with a nucleophilic agent.
