摘要： PURPOSE:To lengthen a moving distance and accurately stop the slider device, by retracting one of toothed members, while advancing the other toothed member, and supplying a fluid from both end ports, while exhausting same from a central port to thereby move the slider device in one direction, and further moving the slider device in the same direction by reversing the moving direction of the toothed members and the supply and exhaust operation of the fluid. CONSTITUTION:In downwardly moving a slider device under the locked condition obtained by advancing a toothed member 13 or 23 of both cylinder devices to engage a forward tooth of the toothed member with a rack 5, (A) the toothed member 13 is retracted, while the toothed member 23 is advanced, and a fluid is supplied from both end ports 14 and 24, while it is exhausted from a central port 3, thereby moving the slider device by a stroke of a piston 22. Then, (B) the toothed member 13 is advanced, while the toothed member 23 is retracted, and the fluid is supplied from the central port 3, while it is exhausted from the both end ports 14 and 24, thereby moving the slider device additionally by a stroke of a piston 12 in the same direction. Thereafter, the above operations (A) and (B) are alternately repeated. In moving the slider device in the counter direction, the retracting and advancing operations as well as the fluid supplying and exhausting operations are reversed to the above. In this manner, the slider device may be accurately stopped even at an intermediate position, and a moving distance may be lengthened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to convey a plurality of articles to be conveyed, in an arbitrary section with an arbitrary timing in an arbitrary direction, by locking a locking means which may be disengageably engaged with the outgoing or returning travel of a carrier at an arbitrary position, to an endless belt member at a suitable timing. CONSTITUTION:When a chain 4 is driven by a motor 1 in one direction to actuate an electromagnetic brake 17 in an outgoing travel locking means 12 in order to stop the rotation of a rotary shaft 15, the body 10 of a carrier 9 is locked to the outgoing travel section 4a of a chain so that a carrier 9 is moved in the outgoing travel direction as the outgoing travel section 4a travels. When the electromagnetic brake 17 is released, the rotary shaft 15 and a sprocket 16 are freely rotated, and therefore, the carrier 9 is released from the travel motion of the outgoing travel section 4a. Similarly, the operation of an electromagnetic brake 21 in a return travel locking means 13 is controlled to engage and disengage the carrier 9 to and from a returning travel section 4a to move the carrier 9 from an arbitrary position in the returning travel direction, and the carrier 9 is then released at another arbitrary position to be stopped. Accordingly, it is possible to minimize detrimental effects to the stream of the succeeding line due to a failure of a carrier.

In addition, movable stoppers 9, 10 are provided near the sprockets 1, 2 above and below the chain 3. These stoppers 9, 10 are provided so that the movement of the roller 4 can be blocked and the roller 4 does not reach (a), (b) points when the chain 3 is not driven and the conveyed bed is moved by hand.
