SOLUTION: The steam mop further comprises a handle assembly mounted to a foot assembly that has a shuttling plate slidably mounted beneath the foot assembly, wherein the shuttle plate is configured to selectively divert steam through one of a pair of steam distributors positioned at a forward and rearward portion of the foot assembly dependent on the cleaning stroke direction of the steam mop. In one embodiment, the surface cleaning apparatus further comprises a vacuum source mounted thereto and at least one suction nozzle connected to the vacuum source and adapted to contact the surface to be cleaned and to draw moisture and debris from the surface. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that is capable of removing quantities of dry dirt and larger particles, crumbs and the like from a floor surface and also of performing wet cleaning of the surface. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 10 includes a housing 28, a part of which is a handle 14. A cleaning head 12 is pivotally mounted to the housing 28 or to the handle 14. The cleaning head 12 selectively holds a cleaning pad for collecting liquids, dust and debris from a surface to be cleaned. A suction nozzle 18 is carried by the cleaning head 12 or the handle 14. A dirt collecting receptacle 208 is mounted to the housing 28 and is in fluid communication with the suction nozzle 18 and with a suction fan and motor assembly. At least one spray nozzle 22 can be mounted on the suction nozzle 18, the cleaning head 12, the housing 28 and the handle 14.
