摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify an equipment by arranging a read head and recording head both in the same regions as that the informaion surface side of an original and that at the recorded surface side of a recording paper and by mounting both heads on a common carrier. CONSTITUTION:In the facsimile transmitter-receiver which reads and records picture information by moving read head 7 and recording head 8 in the scanning direction perpendicular to the moving direction of original 0 and recording paper S, original insertion mouth 21 is arranged at the front surface side of the operation part of the equipment, original 0 inserted into insertion mouth 21 with its picture information surface up is carried nearly perpendicularly from the upper part to the lower part, and original carrier guide board 31 is provided which turns with the carrier direction confronted to the front operation surface side. Then, this equipment is provided with read head 7 which faces with the information surface side of original 0, and curl reform roll 42 and main feed roll 43 which carry recording paper S nearly horizontally, in addition to carrier 6 moving in the main scanning direction with both heads 7 and 8 mounted, at a fixed position in the middle of carrying original 0 from the upper part to the lower part.

摘要： An imaging system switching device is described. The imaging system switching device is used for multi-function office machines, which has a scanner and a printer and additionally a copy machine and a fax machine. The imaging system switching device has a roller, a lens, a reflector, an optical receiver, an optical transmitter, and an optical switch. The optical switch changes light streams transmitting route for different function so as to use the same transmitting elements for a scan function and a print function. Another aspect of the imaging system switching device further has an original roller so that the switching device of the imaging system can simultaneously scan and print.

摘要： After a printing paper cueing by a stepping motor in a printing mode in a copying process, mode switching is made from the printing mode to a copying mode while maintaining a supply of an excitation current to the stepping motor. In the copying mode, both a printing paper conveyance mechanism and an original document conveyance mechanism are driven by the stepping motor for simultaneous operations of reading information on the original document and printing the information read from the original document to the printing paper. Thus, synchronization between the excitation current and the rotation of the stepping motor is maintained even when mechanical load exerted to the stepping motor increases. In other mode switchings, except to the copying mode, the supply of excitation current to the stepping motor is discontinued.
