    • PURPOSE:To detect abnormalities in a rotary shaft system by calculating a axial deformation mode in the direction Z as a (n-1) order curve from eccentricities in the directions x, y of the rotary shaft detected by n(n>=3) position detecting sensors provided along the rotary shaft to compare the mode with the normal deformation mode range. CONSTITUTION:The axial direction is set to the direction z. The eccentric position from the axis of a rotary shaft 1 in positions Zi(i=1-3) of respective position detecting sensors 7 is assumed (xi, yi), (i=1-3) and on the basis of three points (x1, z1), (x2, z2), (z3, z3) about the direction x, a quadric curve x=axz + bxz + cx passing through these three points about z is determined. Similarly, on the basis of three points (y1, z1), (y2, z2), (y3, z3) in the direction y, a quadric curve y=ayz + byz + cy passing through these three points about z is determined. Deformation modes of the whole system of the rotating shaft 1 are represented approximately by the quadric curves in the directions x, y and when the mode of the whole shaft system obtained from these quadric curves gets out of the mode ranges 9x, 9y obtained previously in the respective directions, x, y some abnormalities are judged to be caused.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the unbalance vector reading accuracy of an unbalance measuring instrument by correcting the numerical value amount of the signals of an unbalanced body to be inspected with the numerical value amount of no-load unbalance signals and finding the data indicating the size and phase angle of an unknown unbalanced body by using an adjustment constant. CONSTITUTION: A RAM 68 stores the numerical value amount of no-load unbalance signals obtained by rotating a no-load shaft, the numerical value of unbalance signals for adjustment obtained by rotating the shaft while an already known unbalanced body is added to the shaft, and the numerical value amount of unbalance signals obtained by rotating the shaft while an unknown unbalanced body to be inspected is added to the shaft. A calculating device 61 makes correction by subtracting the numerical value amount of the no-load signals from those of the signals for adjustment and unknown unbalanced body, calculates an adjustment constant from the corrected numerical value amount of the signals for adjustment, and obtains numerical values indicating the size and phase angle of the unknown unbalanced body for inspection from the corrected numerical value amount of the signals of the unknown unbalanced body and adjustment constant.

    • PURPOSE:To correct fitting eccentricity even when the fitting eccentricity is generated at random and to take a balance test with high accuracy by detecting the quantity of radial displacement of the peripheral wall of a rotor as an eccentricity output and subtracting the eccentricity output from an unbalance output. CONSTITUTION:The rotor 22 which has a main rotating shaft as the body to be tested is fixed to a disk part 32 formed almost in the center of a work fitting jig 31 with a bolt 61, etc. Both ends of a shaft part 33 are supported by bearings 41 supported by springs 42 and a pickup 12 which detect vibrations of the bearings is provided. Further, an eccentricity detector 11a which measures the radial displacement of the roller 52 by pressing the roller is fixed on the outer peripheral wall 21 of the rotor 22. Then, the rotor 22 fitted to the work fitting jig 31 is rotated and a subtracting circuit 13 subtracts the eccentricity output from the eccentricity detector 11 from the unbalance output generated by the pickup 12, so that the value of the unbalance that the rotor 22 itself has is displayed on a display part 75.
