摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a device for a piecing treatment, capable of automatically piecing a warp and then cutting the pieced yarn projected from a woven fabric at a place apart from the woven fabric by disposing a yarn-holding member, a pieced yarn-detecting sensor and a cutter for cutting the end of the pieced yarn on a moving member capable of being laterally moved on the woven fabric. CONSTITUTION: A moving member 2 capable of being moved in the weaving width direction is disposed at a place above the woven fabric 3 slightly backward a cloth fell 8. A yarn holding member (for example, a yarn-sucking pipe) 17, a piecing yarn-detecting sensor 26, and a cutter 23 for cutting the end of the pieced yarn are disposed on the moving member 2. When a warp is broken during a weaving operation, a piecing yarn is pieced with the warp beam side end of the warp, and the pieced yarn is passed through a heddle and a reed, and then suck with a yarn-holding member 17 to hold the pieced yarn in a prescribed tension. Then, a weaving operation is restarted, and when the pieced yarn is detected with the sensor 26, the pieced yarn is cut with the cutter 23 at a place apart from the woven fabric in a prescribed distance.
