    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger hardly causing a crack inside a mouth part with regard to the plunger which is a part of molding equipment of a glass bottle, is set to the lower part of a blank mold in the molding of the glass bottle by a blow and blow process, and molds the inside surface of the mouth part of parison.
      SOLUTION: A top end part and a main body part are molded to be separated into an upper body and a lower body near an edge which is a boundary between a part in contact with the glass and a part in non-contact with the glass. As a result, the heat hardly transfers from the top end part to the main body part to raise a temperature in a part of a head part being in contact with the glass. Then the temperature drop of the glass in the mouth part is decreased to reduce the occurrence of heat stress and to suppress the increase of the viscosity of the glass. A tendency to pull the glass of the mouth part when the plunger moves downward is minimized to eliminate the defect of causing the crack inside the mouth part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable sleeve in which the occurrence of defect of a mouth part of a glass bottle is reduced by eliminating the difficulty due to the deviation of the centers of the sleeve and a mouth die.
      SOLUTION: The sleeve to guide a plunger for forming the inside of the mouth part of a parison in the parison molding process of a glass bottle molder by a blow-and-blow method is constituted of a cylindrical main body (2) having an annular projected line (2a) on the upper end inner periphery, an upper part cylindrical body (3) formed into a cylindrical shape having an outside diameter a little smaller than the inside diameter of the annular projected line (2a) and having a projected part (3a) having projected dimension a little smaller than the inside diameter of the cylindrical main body (2) and larger than the inside diameter of the circular projected line (2a) on the lower end outer periphery and an inside cylindrical body (4) formed into a cylindrical shape having an outside diameter capable of being internally engaged with the cylindrical main body (2) and an inside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the upper cylindrical body (3). When the upper cylindrical body (3) is inserted into the cylindrical main body (2) from the lower side and the inside cylindrical body (4) is inserted by a prescribed length to support the bottom of the upper part cylindrical body (3) is projected from the top surface of the cylindrical body (2) by a prescribed length and the upper part cylindrical body (3) is slightly movable in the horizontal direction to the cylindrical main body (2).
