SOLUTION: The capping apparatus 10 holds a cap 2 of a bottle 1 by opening/closing a pair of fasteners 12 provided at a shaft end of a rotation shaft 11 and fastens the cap 2 by rotation of the rotation shaft 11. The fasteners 12 are equipped with a geared support 24 on a center back of geared support pulleys 22, 23 rotatably supported on a frame, and an endlessly circulating geared belt 25 is wound around the pulleys 22, 23 and the support 24. The geared support 24 is movable in a direction orthogonal to the geared belt 25, and elastic impact is applied to the geared support 24 in a direction where the support 24 applies tension to the belt by an elastic body 28 between a base end face of the geared support 24 and a spring receive face 26B of a guide plate 26.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unnecessary and useless processes in a clean room, and easily and surely detect and discharge defective containers from the outside of the clean room by a method wherein in the clean room, at least one of a charging detecting unit and a sealing detecting unit, is provided, and a container discharging part is provided on the outside of the clean room. SOLUTION: A cap 3 which is placed on the mouth part of a container B and fed to a cap temporary tightening device, is pinched between a temporary tightening member 1 and a cap supporting member 2 by the pressing force of a spring means 8, and is rotated, and then, the cap 3 moves in the (a) direction, and is screwed with a conical thread which is provided on the mouth part of the container B, and is temporarily tightened. The container B on which the cap 3 is temporarily tightened, is carried between a judging means equipped with a light emitting unit 4 and a light receptor unit 5. When the temporary tightening of the cap is judged to be sufficient and appropriate, a major tightening of the cap is performed by a major tightening device, and when the temporary tightening of the cap is judged to be insufficient and inappropriate, a mark is applied to the top surface of the cap 3 by a marking means 6, and the cap is identified by a discharging means, and the container B is discharged from a carrying line.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely effect temporary tightening without hindering the transportation of a container, in a device for temporarily tightening a screw-on cap on a line, by providing a temporarily tightening member which includes a contact surface adapted to make contact with the outer periphery of the cap and which can be moved toward and away from the a line. SOLUTION: If a container B such as a PET bottle, with its mouth covered with a sterilized cap 4, is conveyed on a transfer line L toward a cap temporarily tightening device, the cap 4 is forced into a space between a temporarily tightening surface 1a of the member 1 and a supporting surface 2a of a cap supporting member 2, while the cap 4 is pushing the member 1 away from a line L against a spring means 6. And the cap 4 moves along the line L in the direction arrow A, while it is being held between both the surfaces 1a, 2a. At that time, the cap 4 is rotated clockwise with respect to the container B, while it is being held under predetermined pushing pressure, so that the cap 4 is screwed into a helical protrusion provided at the mouth of the container B and temporarily tightened.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct, before a cap-temporarily-tightening process, the position of a cap so that the axis of the cap and that of the threaded part of a container may be aligned, and resolve failure in cap screwing. SOLUTION: Cap-position correction device 8 having a cap-position correction member 18, which comes into contact with the periphery of a cap placed over the mouth of a container and rotates the cap in a direction opposite to the direction where the cap is screwed, and a plurality of cap-top-face-pressing springs is provided upstream from a temporary tightening device 9 which temporarily tightens the screw cap. When the container reaches the position of the cap-position correction device 8, the cap-position correction member 17 comes into contact with the cap periphery, with a frictional force and by the movement of the container 30 the cap 32 is rotated in the direction opposite to the direction where it is screwed, and by pressing the top face of the cap by means of the cap-top-face-pressing spring the position of the cap is corrected naturally so as to be horizontal, so that the axes of the container and cap may be aligned.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device for capper seaming, which can surely transmit the rotation of a rotating shaft to a working part, and at the same time, can surely shut off the rotation to the working part when received a specified rotating load. SOLUTION: A rotor 3 on which a plurality of rotating engaging pieces 11 are provided is fixed to a rotating shaft 2 in an external box 1, and a fixed element 4 on which a plurality of fixed engaging pieces 12 are provided so that they may be engaged with the rotating engaging pieces 11, with a specified gap, is made to correspond with the rotor 3. Then, in the external box 1, a transmission fluid 5 which comes into contact with the rotating engaging pieces 11 of the rotor 3 and the fixed engaging pieces 12 of the fixed element 4, is filled under a sealed state. At the same time, a working means 6 which changes the depth of the engagement between the fixed engaging pieces 12 of the fixed element 4 and the rotating engaging pieces 11 of the rotor 3, is interlocked with the fixed element 4, and a driving shaft 7 which is concentric with the rotating shaft 2 is attached to the external box 1.
