    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat belt for conveyance which ensures an enhanced conveyance accuracy, can operate with a stable tension with the span distance fixed, and presents a high locating accuracy, wherein the belt is prevented from slipping off the pulley and a conveyed object is prevented from being dislocated and wrinkled. SOLUTION: A flat belt is composed of a conveying rubber layer 1 and a tension keeping layer 2 made of rubber, wherein the layer 2 consists of a high modulus mixture rubber in which at least the 10% modulus lies in the range 1.0-20.0 MPa. It is preferable that the rubber layer 1 is a laminate of rubber composition whose coefficient of friction lies between 0.7 and 2.0, and the tension keeping layer 2 should serve as a means to heighten the modulus and therefore contain at least one sort of the rubber formed by bridging the admixture of carbon and reinforcing short fibers or unsaturated metal salt of carboxylic acid and organic peroxides.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyer belt which has high durability, sanitary safety and has very little adhesive remains of a transported material by laminating acid anhydride copolymerized polyolefin for a resin layer and laminating a fiber canvas treated with an adhesive made of solvent soluble polyester resin. SOLUTION: The resin layer 2 of a conveyer belt 3 is made of acid anhydride copolymerized polyolefin obtained by copolymerizing acid anhydride with polyolefin. As an anhydride, maleic anhydride, Nadic R anhydride or the like are used which are unsaturated dicarboxylic acid, and as polyolefin, polyethylene, polypropyrene or the like are used. A fiber canvas 1 is formed of a fiber of such as polyethylene terephthalate, nylon 6, cotton or the like. A solvent soluble polyester resin is polyester resin formed by condensation polymerization of polyhydric alcohol and polybasic acid, that is soluble in a solvent and an adhesive is mainly composed of solvent soluble polyester resin, to which epoxy resin or the like is added.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the strong bonding between a polyolefin and fibers by a method wherein a resin layer made of anhydride copolymer polyolefin and a fiber canvas, which is treated with an adhesive made of a thermoplastic polyurethane resin, are employed. SOLUTION: The resin layer 2 of a conveyor belt 3 is made of an anhydride copolymer polyolefin. The fiber canvas 1 is treated with an adhesive made of a thermoplastic polyurethane resin. As the anhydride, a laleic anhydride, a phthalic anhydride or the like is employed. As the polyolefin, a polyethylene, a polypropylene or the like is employed. Further, as the fiber canvas, a polyethylene terephthalate, a nylon 6, a cotton or the like is employed. As the thermoplastic polyurethane resin, the resin obtained through the reaction between a polyester polyol and a diisocyanate is preferable. The fiber canvas 1 is infiltrated in or applied with the liquefied or melted adhesive and then heated so as to be laminated to the melted anhydride copolymer polyolefin.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the strength of a core due to a protrusion mark and to provide a belt which reduces the generation of noise by a method wherein a belt having a cord core embedded therein is manufactured without forming a protrusion mark on a belt surface. SOLUTION: A belt comprises a three-dimensional mesh structure 2 embedded at least in one surface side of a belt body 1; and cord cores 3 embedded 10 a belt body 1. The cord core 3 makes contact with the mesh structure 2. The belt is manufactured by a method comprising a process wherein the three- dimensional mesh structure 2 is arranged on the peripheral surface of a mold 11; a process wherein the three-dimensional mesh structure 2 is arranged on the peripheral surface of the mold 11; a process wherein the cord core 3 is arranged on the mesh structure 2: and a process wherein a molten elastomer 6 is injected in the mold 11 and the cord core 3 is embedded in a thermoplastic elastomer 6 and cured.
