CONSTITUTION:A lift body 6 is provided with a step 8 and a piston rod 10 of a lock cylinder 9 for adjusting the height. A body supporting mechanism 18 is attached to the lock cylinder 9. A cushioning apparatus 30 is provided between the lift body 6 and the vehicle body 3. The cushioning apparatus 30 consists of a cylinder 31 connected to the vehicle body 3, a piston 32 and a piston rod 33 connected to the lift body 6. A hydraulic chamber 34 below the piston 32 is in communication with an accumulator 36 via a flow rate control valve 35.
