    • PURPOSE:To provide a vacuum cleaner wherein a pedal is inserted into a pedal hole of the main body case thereof, which case is divided into two, left and right, parts, said pedal being projected or depressed, and the inner end of the pedal is axially supported within the case of the main body, thereby facilitating the fitting of the pedal to the cleaner. CONSTITUTION:A vaccum cleaner 1 is composed of a main body case 2 and 3 divided in two left and right parts, and a handle 4 is formed on the butt surface. A pedal hole 7 is formed at the base portion of the handle 4, and a pair of left and right bearings 8 are unitarily projected at the upper part of the pedal hole 7 on the inner side surface of the handle 4. A power source pedal 10 and a cord pedal 11 are inserted into the pedal hole 7 form the inner sides of the main body cases 2 and 3 and made projected and depressed. At the same time, a shaft 12 is rotatably supported in the bearing part 8. Since the bearing parts 8 of the pedals 10 and 11 are within the cases of the main body of the cleaner, the device is easy to step, and stable and compact in the structure and easy to be assembled.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner which easily cleans places which are usually hard to clean, such as a ceiling, the back of a gap between furniture or the like, and is more user-friendly.
      SOLUTION: The device is provided with a suction device 101 which sucks dust on the cleaned surface, a vertically long main body 1 which is set to the suction device 101 so that it can easily rotate and has a dust collecting section 5 which catches/collects the dust sucked through the suction device 101 and a handle part 2 with a suction air passage 62 which communicates with the dust collecting section 5 with a flexible hose 3 and sucks the dust through the opening 51, and the handle section 2 is structured so that it can change the length while it is arranged in the vertical orientation of the main body 1, and the length of the handle section 2 can be adjusted for use during the cleaning of the cleaned floor, then, it can suck without stoop.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck at least one of liquid and solid with air, separate and exhaust the air by centrifugal action, and recover the liquid and solid.
      SOLUTION: A recovery apparatus 11 is equipped with a cylindrical airtight container 15 and a suction portion 14 for generating suction force utilizing compressed air. The airtight container 15 is provided with an exhaustion pipe 22 and an introduction pipe 20 for introducing the sucked air or the like so that the sucked air flows therein along the inside of the airtight container 15. The introduction pipe 20 and the suction portion 14 are connected through a hose 21. A cover body 15c of the airtight container 15 is fixed with a guide member 26 for guiding the compressed air introduced from the introduction pipe 20 so that the compressed air flows into the inside of a guide portion from outside through a gap between the guide portion and the inner surface of the airtight container 15. The guide member 26 includes the cylindrical guide portion having the upper end fixed to the cover body 15c with the exhaustion pipe 22 inside and flared downward. The suction portion 14 is connected to a suction nozzle 19 on the suction side.
