    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a growing reef for spiny lobsters capable of growing spiny lobsters from young to adult, improving the survival rate.SOLUTION: A growing reef 1 for spiny lobsters includes: a young lobster reef part 3 having a plurality of recessions of different sizes for postlarvae and young lobsters formed on the surface thereof; and an adult lobster reef part 4 arranged around the young lobster reef part 3 and on which a plurality of pipes 13 and 14 are placed. By this configuration, a young lobster grown in the young lobster reef part 3 is then grown in the adult lobster reef part 4 when fully grown, allowing spiny lobsters to grow in a single growing reef 1 for spiny lobsters from young to adult and thereby improving the survival rate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement restricting device protecting seaweed seeds and seedlings adhering onto a pillar-like part from vermin damage of sea urchin in a seaweed bed creating technique using as the core, seaweed seeds and seedlings adhering onto a pillar-like part arranged in a standing condition on a base, and to provide a structure for seaweed bed creation using the device so as to create a further secured seaweed bed. SOLUTION: The movement restricting device 6 composed of a support body 4 and many cord-like bodies 5 is installed on a prescribed height position of a column-like part 3 arranged in a standing position on a base 2. A plurality of seaweed seeds and seedlings 8 integrated with a plastic ring-like base body 7 are attached to an outer peripheral surface above the movement restricting device 6, at an interval in the height direction through the ring-like base body 7. In this case, the mounting position of the support body 4 is set so as to make the lower ends of the many cord-like bodies 5 nearly reach the upper surface of the base 2, and obstruct sea urchin 9 from creeping up. With a boundary of the position of the support body 4 of the movement restricting device 6, the above column-like outer peripheral surface is used as a raising bed of the seaweed 8.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for seaweed which is simple in structure and can protect seaweed from sea urchin and the like.SOLUTION: The block for seaweed includes a block body 1 and a protective net 11 provided on the outer surface of the block body 1. A net body 12 having flexibility of the protective net 11 is wound around the side surfaces 6, 6A, 6B of the block body 1, a plurality of vertical separation parts 17 are provided in the upper part of the net body 12 at intervals in the winding direction, and a swinging part 18 is provided between adjacent separation parts 17, 17. Swinging of the swinging part 18 in sea prevents benthic organisms such as sea urchin from approaching the swinging part 18, whereby seaweed, which adhere to the block body 1 and is located above the swinging part 18, can be prevented from being damaged by being eaten by benthic organisms. Since the block for seaweed is formed only by working the net body 12 and attaching it to the block body 1, the block for seaweed becomes simple in structure and low in cost.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish bank made of woody columns, capable of exhibiting fish-attracting effects as the fish bank for a long period of time by promoting the utilization of thinned wood.SOLUTION: The fish bank made of the woody columns is composed of a bottom frame body 2 for keeping the fish bank in a state sunk in seawater, and a plurality of the column bodies 1 fixed to the bottom frame body 2. The column body 1 has an outer cover constituted of a wire net 6 or a punched metal enabling the seawater to come and go, and a cavity in the inside. The cavity is filled with woody chips. A metallic prop 1b is erected in the interior of the cavity of the column body 1. A lid 9 is attached to the head part of the column body 1. A bottom plate 3 is attached to the bottom part of the column body 1 by attaching the bottom plate 3 to the bottom frame body 2 with bolts 7 and nuts so as to be freely detachable. The fish-attracting effects are heightened because the column body 1 is composed by being filled with the woody chips to increase spaces in the column body 1, to allow many insects and shellfish becoming bait for the fish to live therein and to allow much seaweed to emerge.
