    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that periodic fluctuation caused by a frequency change of a PWM carrier wave appears at an output current waveform, and control characteristics are deteriorated, if the frequency of the PWM carrier wave is changed for muting switching noises of a harmonic frequency produced when a switching element of a power converter is turned on and off by a PWM signal. SOLUTION: According to the frequency change of the PWM carrier wave, a current control gain is changed when a current command value is changed into a voltage command value, through which periodic fluctuations due to the frequency change in the PWM carrier wave that appears at the output current waveform can be prevented, and fluctuations or the like of torque generated in load to be driven. For transient response of the current command value, the current control gain is changed according to the frequency change of the PWM carrier wave, and a range within which the current control gain is changed is made to change, according to the deviation of the given current command value from the output current.
