SOLUTION: A high damping material composition is obtained by blending a damping-imparting agent such as hindered phenol-based compounds with a base polymer having a polar side chain which is acidic or basic and further blending the same with a noncrystalline resin such as phenol resins and dicyclopentadiene(DCPD) resins to increase compatibility between the base polymer and the damping imparting agent, wherein the composition does not show bleeding phenomena of the damping imparting agent and crystallization and exerts high tan-δ stably for a long period of time and has the damping properties in a wide temperature range.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly damping material composition developing a high tan δ, having slight change with time, useful as a sound barrier of an acoustic room, etc. SOLUTION: An acrylic base polymer containing a basic polar side chain or the like is mixed with a hindered amine-based compound having 500-2,000 molecular weight as a damping providing agent. In this case, the hindered amine- based compound is preferably a condensate of 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinol and β,β,β',β'-tetramethyl-3,9-(2,4,8,10- tetraoxaspiro[5,5]undecane)diethanol. The obtained stably develops a high tan δby excellent entanglement of the base polymer with the damping supplying agent, has a slight reduction rate in tan δ by change with time and damping performances in a temperature range around a room temperature environment.

The surface layer of the material is subjected to a surface treatment with a silane coupling agent to form a crystallization control layer. The obtained highly damping material composition is completely blocked from an open air by the crystallization control layer on the surface layer and can develop high tan δ for a long period of time.

An (ethylene-)acrylic rubber, an ethylene-vinyl acetate rubber, a chlorinated polyethylene, a polyvinyl chloride, an acrylonitrile- butadiene rubber, a butyl rubber, a methacrylic copolymer, etc., are preferably used as the component A. A compound containing a polyamine group, a compound containing a polyamidoamine group, etc., are preferably used as the component C.
