    • PURPOSE:To enhance detection accuracy, by providing a cover body having venting holes provided over the whole thereof to a substrate on the element holding side thereof and electrically connecting the substrate and the cover body to the source electrode and lead terminal of FET to electromagnetically shield an element. CONSTITUTION:The FET sensor element 1 fixed to a substrate 2 is formed by providing a high resistant temp. detector 8 on an FET element 7 and further forming a gate electrode 9 thereon by vapor deposition using gold. Thereafter, a source 10, a drain 11, a gate electrode part 12 and the lead terminals 3a, 3b, 3c corresponding thereto are connected by lead wires 13a, 13b, 13c. Next, an 100-mesh net made of stainless steel is formed into a cylindrical shape to be used as a cover body 5. This cover body 5 is mounted on the substrate 2 so as to be caulked by an aluminum band 6. At this time, the cover body 5 can be electrically connected to the side surface of the substrate 2 by caulking and, when the lead terminal 3a is earthed, the electrical shielding of the element 1 is achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To separate a sensor part from a liquid to improve the reliability by providing an oscillator whose resonance circuit includes a capacitor consisting of >=2 electrodes formed on the outside surface of an insulating tube, and changing the electrostatic capacity in accordance with the liquid level in the tube to change the oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 2 consisting of electrodes 2a and 2b is connected to an oscillator 3 and is a constituting element of the resonance circuit of the oscillator 3. The frequency of the oscillator 3 is changed in accordance with the electrostatic capacity of the capacitor 2, and for example, the oscillation frequency is lower according as the capacity of the capacitor 2 is smaller. When the liquid level in a tube 1 is high, the electrostatic capacity of the capacitor 2 is increased by the dielectric constant of the liquid because the liquid extents more between electrodes 2a and 2b. Consequently, the oscillation frequency is made lower according as the liquid level in the tube 1 is higher. The output frequency of the oscillator 3 is counted by a frequency counter 4, and the measured result is latched in a latch circuit 5 and is taken out to the external.

    • PURPOSE:To keep temperature uniform at various positions in a room by detecting intensities of infra-red rays coming from a plurality of areas in a room by means of a number of infra-red ray sensors to obtain the temperatures of those areas and controlling the direction of the air blown out of an air conditioner according to the temperature of the area. CONSTITUTION:An infra-red ray sensor 26 is arranged on the side of the blow- off section 14 of an air conditioner body 11. The infra-red ray sensor 26 has concave faces 29a-29d which face to different directions. At the focal points of those concave faces infra-red ray sensors 31a-31d are provided to detect temperatures of individual areas X1-X4. Those temperatures are processed at the central control unit, and based on this processing the air flow blown off of louver to each area is regulated, namely, if air is blown off to an area where its temperature is high, a control signal is sent to the motor control device so as to slow down the rotational speed of the lourver for that area.

    • PURPOSE:To install piping easily regardless of whether the piping is installed newly or already installed, and to detect whether fluid flows in the piping easily. CONSTITUTION:When water is fed through a valve, its sound is sensed by an acoustic sensor 11 and a continuous signal with large amplitude appears between output terminals of the acoustic sensor 11, i.e. core wires 19c an 19b. This signal is converted by a window comparators 34 into a pulse signal, which is counted by a counter 35. The counter 35 is reset by the rising of an output pulse of an oscillator 36, so the counter counts until a final bit goes up to ''1'' within a period (one second) between some resetting point and the next resetting point, and then sends its output. Then, when the final bit of the counter 35 is ''1'' and the output of the oscillator 36 is at a high level, an AND gate 37 is opened and a display 39 indicates a flow state.

    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to conduct safety operation of a ventilation fan with a simple mechanism, by detecting operating condition of a gas-burning equipment by using an optical fiber flame detector.
CONSTITUTION: A power source for the outlet 1a of a ventilation fan 1 is supplied from a source 10a to be controlled by being linked with a hot-water heater 2, and a power source 10b of an operating device 10 is connected with AC 100V. An optical fiber 11 which has thermal resisting property of quartz, etc. is connected between a heat exchanger 3 and a burner 4 of the hot-water heater 2. When a flame-detecting section 12 of the operating device 10 is red-hot heated, a flame signal is obtained by a light-receiving unit 20 through a connector on the other end 15 of the optical fiber 11, and a motor of the ventilation fan 1 (not shown) is controlled by said signal.
