    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the transfer of setting data accompanied by the replacement of a control base board by a method wherein the base board discriminating data of an old control base board are compared with those of a control board retained by themselves and the setting data, transferred from the old control base board, are decided whether the setting data are to be address to and stored in a memory or not in accordance with the result of the comparison. SOLUTION: The version information of a microcomputer is written previously into a non-volatile memory equipped in both of a new control base board 1 and an old control board 2 as base board control data. Upon transferring data between both of the new base board 1 and the old base board 2, setting data and base board discriminating data, which are stored in the non-volatile memory of the old control base board 2, are transferred at first to the new control base board 1. Subsequently, the base board discriminating data of the old control board 2 are compared with own base board discriminating data in the old control base board 2 and only when the version of the microcomputer coincides, the setting data are addressed to the non- volatile memory of the new control base board 1. According to this method, malfunction, caused under a condition that the control data are not coped with the new control base board 1, can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless check processing from being performed when a check signal is erroneously outputted or at the time of maintenance and check in the case of controlling a system through communication between equipment. SOLUTION: A solar hot-water supply connection controller 48 holds the value of '0' as an initial flag value. After the equipment is installed, a solar hot-water supply connection unit C requests the response of whether a main hot-water supplier A can deal with that solar hot-water supply connection controller 48 or not and when a response signal from a main controller 4 is received, it is discriminated whether that equipment is a suitable type or not. When the main hot-water supplier A and the solar hot-water supply connection unit C are suited as a result of discrimination, the solar hot-water supply connection controller 48 turns the flag value to '1', holds it and normally operates a hot-water supply system. When the flag value is turned to '1', the solar hot-water supply connection controller 48 does not perform any check even when a check signal is received from a remote controller 51.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the understanding of a display pertaining to the conditions of devices composing a multiple device system. CONSTITUTION:A multiple device systems is provided with a plurality of devices 1, 2 and 3 connected to each other, remote controllers RC1, RC2 and RC3 (hereinafter called remocons) connected corresponding to the devices, a system controller 4 connected between the devices and the remocons corresponding thereto and a system remote controller 5 connected thereto. While direct transmission or reception between the devices and the remocons corresponding to the devices are made impossible, the transmission or reception of the devices and the remocons are made possible only with the system remote controller 5 separately to separate the devices, the remocons and the system remote controller 5 into groups A-D. Information transmitted from the devices in the groups is displayed on the remote controller of the same group while the newest information alone is displayed on the system remote controller 5 out of that from the devices of all the groups.
