摘要： PURPOSE:To compress the information on a 2-dimensional binary pattern without depending on the input/output accuracy of an input/output device, by atandardizing and coding the run lengths of horizontal and vertical directions of the 2- dimensional binary pattern in the form of binary numbers. CONSTITUTION:The 1st line of a 2-dimensional binary pattern in a memory 901 is stored in a line buffer 904 via a memory control part 905. The run is extracted out of the buffer 904 by a run length extracting part 906. The extracted run is standardized at a run length converting part 907 in binary numbers and then coded at a coding part 908 to be fed to a synthesizing part 912. At the same time, the line position is detected at a line detecting part 909. The output of the part 909 is sent to the part 912 via a position converting part 910 and a coding part 911. The output synthesized at the part 912 is stored in a memory 913.

The displacement information of each animation cell and the number of display frames are calculated by an animation control information calculating circuit 3 and the calculated result is inputted to an animation control information register 4. On the basis of the animation information, animiation cell information is formed from the initial picture information by an animation cell information forming circuit 5 and the animation pattern is formed by a display controlling circuit 7 The calculated frame data are compared and a frame of which displacement information is continuous and equal is used as one animation cell.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the operation for correction and editing of a document, by using a main cursor register, a secondary cursor register and a cursor shift key which are controlled by a control part and integrating the functions for both a single character and plural characters. CONSTITUTION:The character data is fed to a control part 10 from a keyboard 80 of a character correcting/editing device, and the position of the character data is decided on a page through the part 10. The result of this decision is fed to a display control part 20 and then to a display part 30 for display. When the displayed characters are corrected and edited, the contents of the cursor positions stored in a main cursor register 40 and a secondary cursor register 50 are fed to the part 10 and then displayed at the part 30. The contents of the register 40 are shifted with an operation of a cursor shift key 70; while the contents of the register 50 are shifted by the signal supplied from the part 10. Then the functions for both a single character and plural characters are integrated. Thus both the correction and editing can be simplified for characters.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the range of application for a facsimile device, by securing the reception of the coded character information. CONSTITUTION:For the facsimile signal received at a transmission/reception control part 1, the facsimile signal of a prescribed length is first decided as a discriminator at a discriminator interpreting part 2. Then the subsequent facsimile signal is decided as a compressed pattern signal or a character code train. The result of this decision is fed to an output control part 3, and the facsimile signal received at the part 1 is converted into a pattern through a decoding part 4 and then written into a pattern buffer 6. These decoding and pattern writing operations are repeated with a frequency equivalent to a scan line, and the part 3 gives an indication of printing to a printing part 7 when the buffer 6 is filled. Thus a pattern equivalent to a scan line is printed at the part 7. The discriminator is detected at the part 2, and the part 3 decides a character code. Thus the character code is converted into a character pattern through a character pattern converting part 5 and written into the buffer 6.

Then, the position of the black peak and that of the white peak are fixed at prescribed potentials, respectively. Therefore, an accurate binary-coded video signal is obtained by performing slicing at their intermediate slice level. An envelope detector 8 generates a slicing potential and its mean value level is used as the slicing level of a slicer 4.

CONSTITUTION:When to C0-C13, the character code from the external portion of the device, and to N0-N4, the subaddress number are respectively inputted, they are memorized temporarily in the memory portions 4, 5 by the strobed signals ST1, ST2. The character code is converted into the host bit of the stored address of the character turn table which is memorized in the memory 3 by the conversion portion 1. This address information is set at the register 11 and at the same time, the address number of the memory portion 5 is set at the register 12. Then, the contents of the registers 11, 12 are respectively inputted to the upper and the lower bits of the memory 3 and after a predetermined time, the upper bits D0-D13 of the stored address of the character pattern are outputted.
