      SOLUTION: This polyester-based block copolymer comprises a fluorene-based polyester block chain (A) having a 9,9-bis(hydroxyaryl)fluorene skeleton and an aromatic polyester block chain (B) linked by a chain extender. The copolymer may be produced by way of a step of melt-kneading the fluorene skeleton-containing polyester-based resin having 9,9-bis(hydroxyaryl)fluorene skeleton with the aromatic polyester-based resin in the presence of a depolymerizing agent to depolymerize them; and a step of adding a chain extender to the product produced by the depolymerization to react the fluorene-based polyester block chain (A) with the aromatic polyester block chain (B).

The vinylic polymer may be an acrylic graft copolymer of glycidyl (meth)acrylate and an acrylic macromonomer having the aliphatic polyester block chain as polymerizable components. The vinylic polymer has the biodegradability and is suitable as a compatibilizer.
