    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a wall plate made of a gypsum board or plywood joined to the side of a rectangular frame made of a thin steel plate and to enhance the in-plane shearing strength thereof. SOLUTION: A rectangular frame 17 comprises top and bottom horizontal frame members 3, 1 each made of a thin steel plate curved into an almost U-shaped cross section and joined to vertical frame members 2. A bracing surface plate 18 made of a thin steel plate is bonded in advance to the inner surface of a gypsum board with an adhesive over their entire surfaces to form a wall plate 10. The bracing surface plate 18 is made to abut to the side of the rectangular frame 17, and after a plurality of drilling tapping screws 22 are driven in from the outside of the gypsum board, they are passed through the bracing surface plate 18, the top and bottom horizontal frame members 3, 1, and the vertical frame members 2 to secure the wall plate 1 to the side of the rectangular frame 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure by which four corner sections of a rectangular frame body for mounting wall composed of thin steel plates are not deformed and distracted even if they receive tensile force due to a brace. SOLUTION: This joining structure is constituted in such a manner that a rectangular frame body for mounting wall is constituted by joining a horizontal frame material 1 in upper and lower parts and a vertical frame material 2 which are made of thin steel plates formed by bending their cross sections roughly in U shape and that a lower end part of a brace 4 is joined to a flange 6 of the lower horizontal frame material 1 and the longitudinal frame material 2 through a gusset plate to fix the lower horizontal frame material 1 on a foundation by using an anchor bolt 8. A press metal fitting 20 which has substantially same width as web width and has the length from an anchor bolt arrangement position to a position where the vertical frame material 2 comes into contact with a web 5 is arranged on a top face of the web 5 of the lower horizontal frame material 1, and a contact part 14 on one side of a hold down metallic material is put on a top face of the press metal fitting 20. An anchor bolt 8 passes through the web 5 of the lower horizontal frame material 1, the press metal fitting 20, and the contact part 14 of the hold down metallic material to fix them integrally. The other contact part of the hold down metallic material is brought into contact with the web 5 of the vertical frame material 2 to fix them integrally.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joining strength for a rectangular frame at an end of a brace of an extremely thin steel plate. SOLUTION: A corner section at a lower end of a rectangular frame is constituted by joining a horizontal frame material 1 and a vertical frame material 2 in upper and lower parts which are made of extremely thin steel plates which are formed in such a manner that their cross sections are bent in roughly U shape. Then, a lower end part of a brace 4 is joined on flanges 6 of the lower horizontal frame material 1 and the vertical frame material 2 through a gusset plate 15, and the lower horizontal frame material 1 is fixed on a foundation by using an anchor bolt 8. The width L in a drilling tapping screw arrangement region of an end part of the brace is set to be larger than the width L1 of the intermediate part and a plurality of drilling tapping screws 13 are drilled along the width L so that the relation of strength (A) at which the whole brace yields when tensile force acts on the brace 4 and strength against destruction (B) of a join part due to the drilling tapping screws 13 between the brace 4 and the gusset plate 15 becomes B>A.

    • PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of a mechanism transmit stress from a column to a beam or vice versa and improve the working effectiveness by furnishing a pair of bolt joint parts at both ends of a joining metal piece across the width in the form of an angle with the crest left open so that the mutual spacing of steel column sides widens, and establishing the bolt joint in the form of a one-side bolt joining. CONSTITUTION: A steel column 1 is joined with each bolt joint part 3a of a joining metal piece 3 fixed to the end of a steel beam 2 by a one-side bolt 4 while the outside surfaces are in contact. Each section of an octagonal column to be joined with the bolt joint part 3a of the joining metal piece 3 is formed at an angle of 90deg. to one another. The joining surface is provided at a certain spacing with a plurality of holes for performing joining by one-side bolts 4. The bolt joint part of the joining metal piece 3 is provided at a certain spacing with holes for joining by one-side bolts 4 in such an arrangement that the joining positions are identical to the bolt holes in the steel column 1.
