    • PURPOSE:To enhance the evaluation accuracy of flame stabilizing performance by image-measuring the distribution of OH radical light emission near a flame stabilizer, selecting some typical measurement points, measuring time change of light emission, computing correlation between two points, deciding flame fluctuation characteristics, and evaluating the flame stabilizing performance. CONSTITUTION:An optical probe 14 takes out a flame image by way of an optical cylinder 15 and divides the image into a monitor TV 30 and an image expander 33 by means of an image distributor where the image is expanded with the image expander 33. A stepping motor 40 is arranged to move a light receiver 35 based on the instructions of a computer 32 and the partial images at several points in conformity with the purpose are incorporated. The images are fed to a waveform correlation analyzing device 39 by way of a waveform recording device 38 where various kinds of correlation are calculated and the calculated values are compared with a reference value of flame fluctuations predetermined by a comparator 42. The computer 32 evaluates the flame stability and flame holding performance at the flame position based on the evaluation results.

    • PURPOSE:To easily form the image of equal size and the image of equal intensity by providing an optical amount where plural image branching optical parts for dividing the image are fixed and arranged to satisfy a specified optical condition and an optical path change finely adjusting device which adjusts the fine deviation of an optical path made incident on a video device. CONSTITUTION:The image is branched by a half mirror mount 3, a half mirror 4 and a total reflection mirror 5 which are integrated to be formed as a device. The optical path finely adjusting device 10 is provided with a clockwise and counterclockwise rotating frame 19 supported to a fixed frame 18 by a pair of up-and-down clockwise and counterclockwise rotating shafts 21 and 21 inside the frame 18. Then, a thick quartz plate 23 is fitted in the frame 19. The emitted position of the light made incident on the plate 23 is changed according to the tilt angle and the refractive index of the quartz plate, but the refractive index is constant, so that the optical path is optionally changed corresponding to the tilt angle and the deviation of the optical path made incident on the video device 12 is corrected. Thus, the deviation of the optical path is easily adjusted and the work of forming the sized image is facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To conduct low NOx combustion in the large range of operation of a gas turbine by installing a flow straightening device in the air flow channel of a premixing device and holding uniform the air flow in the premixing device even if the area of air flow-in of the premixing device changes. CONSTITUTION:A premixing device 3 is formed by an annular flow channel that is divided by an outer circumferential wall 4 and an inner circumferential wall 5 which extend in the direction of the shaft of a burner, and the upstream end of the device 3 is a face parallel to the direction of the shaft of the burner and forms a flow-in opening through which premixture air flows in and the downstream end opens in a combustion chamber 12, and in the annular flow channel a plurality of fuel nozzle 7 with fuel injection hole 16 to supply premixed fuel 101 are mounted on the same circumference and, on the upstream side of the fuel injection hole 6 an annular flow straightening plate 13 is provided. Further, said flow-in opening is adjusted in its area of opening by a slide ring 14 mounted on the outer circumference of the flow-in opening. And, in the inner circumferential section of the premixing device 3 an auxiliary burner nozzle 8 provided with a fuel injection hole 17 is installed. With this constitution premixing air 100' is straightened in its flow by the flow straightening plate 13 provided in the annular flow channel of the premixing device 3 so that uniformity of flow is kept, and it is possible to supply the premixing gas 103 into the combustion chamber 12 with a uniform flow distribution and concentration distribution.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform fuel-gas premixture at all times, and to reduce the generation of NOx by providing a smoothening chamber between a valve for varying the opening area of an after air stream inlet port for air for premixture combustion and a fuel-air premixture flow passage in the downstream of the valve. CONSTITUTION:Air 1 which has flowed through a path between a burner casing 3 and a burner liner 5 is partly adjusted in its flow amount by a slide valve 15 in accordance with a load and flows into a smoothening chamber 20. After smoothened, the air is guided into a fuel-air premixture flow passage 6 where the air is mixed with the fuel 11 ejected from a fuel nozzle 12, and is converted to a uniform fuel-air premixture to be ejected into a combustion chamber 8 for premixture combustion. According to this arrangement, the flow pattern of the premixture in the fuel-air premixture flow passage 6 becomes substantially constant without depending upon an opening degree of the slide valve 15, and the uniformity of the premixture is maintained. Thus, harmful carbon monoxide can be prevented from being discharged, and stable premixture combustion covering a wide range can be carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a low NOx combustor, by a method wherein an annular air flow passage is formed coaxially with fuel-air premixture flow passage, and a fuel nozzle port for a pilot flame is formed in a wall member by which the two flow passages are separated. CONSTITUTION:Air from an compressor enters a combustor casing 20, a part thereof flows in a fuel-air premixture flow passage 3 through a fuel-air premixture flow passage inlet 1 and is mixed with fuel through a fuel nozzle 2 to produce fuel-air premixture having low fuel concentration, which flows in a combustion chamber 10. Remaining partial air passes a head part cover 27 and flows through an air flow passage 4 to the combustion chamber 10. A small and stable circulating flow is formed on the combustion chamber side of a partition wall part 5 by means of a fuel-air premixture flow and an air flow flowing on both sides. A small amount of fuel for a pilot flame flowing through a pilot fuel flow passage 6 and flowing out through a pilot fuel injection nozzle 7 forms a pilot flame in a circulating flow region. A mixture ratio can be set in the circulating region to a value approximately similar to a theoretical mixture ratio, and brisk combustion reaction takes place to produce a stable pilot flame. Fuel-air premixture flowing out from the fuel-air premixture flow passage 3 forms a stable fuel-air premixture flame in a wide range of fuel-air premixture concentration by means of a pilot flame serving as an ignition source.
