SOLUTION: In the optical head device 1, there are superposed, a ball seat 50, a yoke 2 and a lens holder 3 in this order on the frame 9 that moves along a guide shaft extending in the radial direction of the optical recording disk. A cylindrical part 28 exerted from the lower face of the yoke 2 is inserted in the inserting hole 51 of the ball seat 50. Since the inserting hole 51 is a slot extending in the orthogonal direction to the guide shaft, the yoke 2 can be moved in a direction crossing the guide shaft relative to the ball seat 50. Accordingly, the objective lens 5 can be adjusted in position between the guide shafts.
