    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mix a gas into a cleaning liquid with high efficiency, to dissolve a gas in a cleaning liquid stably and sufficiently and thus to execute steady cleaning by introducing a gas mixed cleaning liquid into a tank to form a gas dissolved cleaning liquid and then injecting this gas dissolved cleaning liquid against a metallic strip for cleaning. SOLUTION: With regard to the gas mixed cleaning liquid introduced into the tank, for example, an ejector or the like is provided as a gas-liquid mixer in a cleaning liquid supplying tube at the tank inlet side, and simultaneously with the supply of the cleaning liquid air is supplied as a gas. Thereby, the contact area of the gas and the cleaning liquid is increased enormously, and a gas mixed cleaning liquid is prepared with a great deal of mixed gas in the cleaning liquid in a short time and is introduced into the tank. In this way, by introducing thus prepared gas mixed cleaning liquid into the tank mixing action generates in the tank, and the mixed gas in the gas mixed cleaning liquid is dissolved in the cleaning liquid sufficiently and rigidly.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely remove scale even in the case of stubborn adhesion of iron powder like stainless steel materials by injecting a large volume of low-pressure water to a descaling range and more particularly marking positions of cut surfaces of a hot slab to rapidly cooling the surfaces and float the scale, then injecting high-pressure water thereto to apply mechanical impact thereto. SOLUTION: The large volume of the cooling water of about 3 to 5 kg/cm is injected to the descaling range of a slab end face 1a by using plural water cooling nozzles 18 to cool this end face down to 300 to 400 deg.C, by which the scale is made into an easily removable state. While a discharge nozzle of about 0 deg. in injection pattern is thereafter horizontally scanned at specified intervals, the high-pressure water of 200 to 300 kg/cm is injected to peel the scale. The discharge port of the high-pressure water nozzle is preferably deviated from the central axis of the nozzle. The nozzle is preferably provided with a mechanism for detecting the rotation and position of the nozzle. Further, these devices are mounted on a truck and are connected to a marking truck. Both operations are continuously executed.
