    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fixing structure of a race ring and the fixing method of the race ring for fixing split rings to each other without giving an impact and capable of adjusting assembling dimensions in the axial direction of the split rings.SOLUTION: The fixing structure of the race ring includes: an outer ring 3 for rolling bearing, which is composed of a plurality of split rings 11, 12 split in the axial direction and has a through-hole formed in the axial direction; and a fixing means 20 for fixing the split rings 11, 12 to each other. The fixing means 20 includes: a first regulation member 21 and a second regulation member 22 which are attached to both sides in the axial direction of the through-hole 17; a wire 23a disposed between the first regulation member 21 and the second regulation member 22 in the through-hole 17; and a winch 29a which applies force in the axial direction to make the first regulation member 21 and the second regulation member 22 approach each other by generating tension to a wire 23a.
